On Day 3 of Bilibili World 2024, I finally sorted out this set of Convention photos for President Misaki. To honor this character's distinct aesthetic, we intentionally avoided the noisy and messily lit indoor hall environments, choosing instead the outer corridor and parking areas with deep depth of field and an industrial vibe. This dark, cool-toned architectural backdrop, combined with golden dragon embroidery on the modified black qipao and a grey-based striped trench coat, perfectly complements the character's cool glamour and mob boss aura.

Regarding wardrobe, this modified qipao features a sleeveless high-collar design with light blue Chinese piping along the neckline. The front's generous black base paired with golden dragon motifs serves as a classic visual accent. Below, the short black qipao lining paired with black tights and high heels effectively extends leg proportions during walking or leg-raising poses. The striped trench coat worn on top was quite heavy in practice, and draping such a thick long coat at a mid-July convention venue was undeniably hot and humid. However, to achieve that calm and dashing visual impact across the photo set, I insisted on capturing both the half-draped look and dynamic coat swishes.

Props were fully equipped for this shoot. The floating halo overhead is an iconic character element; combining physical props with post-processing light-and-shadow treatment preserved a wonderful sense of levitation in frame. The prop submachine gun with a wooden stock held in hand, paired with bare hand or full-coverage black glove grip poses, significantly enhanced visual intimidation. The black vintage suitcase placed on the ground served as another essential prop, providing a great anchor for framing and character posing. For instance, in the final seated pose, using the suitcase as a support while resting chin on hand portrayed a calm, prudent, and effortlessly composed state.

The first few half-body and full-body standing shots primarily display the overall outfit coordination and silhouette. Composition when standing straight leans cool and austere, keeping eye line and body along the same axis as much as possible. Interspersed throughout are dynamic backward glances, swishing trench coat motion, and single-leg raised moments that break visual stiffness through body extension and step shifts, preventing the set from feeling rigid. In particular, the single-leg raised shot visually elongates vertical extension from waistline to ankle, creating excellent texture contrast between black tights, patent leather heels, and dark industrial backdrops.

During the shoot, photographer San Fei Liang Shou Mao Mao Zi MoMor grasped this cold, tough tonal aesthetic precisely. He took great care when framing to avoid crowded background mobs, utilizing shallow depth of field and telephoto spatial compression to separate the foreground model cleanly from pavilion pillars and distant crowds behind. This was crucial for delivering quality photos in a high-density public event space. Furthermore, the cool-toned, cold-light post-processing style aligned seamlessly with my impression of the character's stern, sharp, and naturally intimidating presence in Blue Archive.

Running around on rough concrete in high heels and a long trench coat to adjust standing positions drained no small amount of physical stamina. Fortunately, final rendered image textures felt crisp, firm, and filled with tension. I enjoy capturing that calm, independent presence that commands the room without needing many words, and this photo set achieved exactly that. This style—blending dark aesthetic, battle-worn edge, and gorgeous modified qipao—is highly captivating and beautifully captures the character's confident yet dangerous temperament. Processing in warmer tones or different lighting would have diluted that "approach with caution" aura. Thus, final images retained considerable cool color saturation to accentuate metal textures, qipao luster, and fair skin contrasts.
