The spotlights on stage really test a coser's control over details, especially for this little idol look of Iochi Mari cosplay from Blue Archive. The golden cat ears on top of my head combined with the halo decoration behind my head made it much easier to get great photos than I imagined under the dark backdrop. Paired with matching bright blue colored contacts, the overall visual focus is very clear.

Speaking of costume details, those geometric lines on the color-blocked black and white dress are actually very slimming, and the bright yellow large bow on the chest provides an excellent brightening effect, preventing the black from being too dull. The ruffled design of the large cuffs adds a doll-like fluffiness when I hold the microphone or make a finger-heart with one hand. But the most interesting part is the running joke mentioned in the title: the safety shorts of this outfit can genuinely be worn as pajama pants. Such a design is actually very practical during stage practice because whether sitting cross-legged, kneeling, or propping myself up on the ground like in the photos, there's no need to worry about accidental exposure. The movements can be very extended and free, and it's truly comfortable.

During the shoot, the warm yellow spotlight from the top of the stage hit my blonde hair, forming a fluffy rim light, which instantly maxed out the overall atmosphere. That snapshot of sitting on the edge of the stage making a finger-heart perfectly showcases the playful "on-duty" state of a little idol in front of the camera. The skirt hem of this outfit is layered, so it doesn't look messy even in a sitting posture; instead, it reveals the line-decorated stockings and black leather shoes, making the overall proportions just right.

For my first time trying out this character, I put special effort into styling the airy feel of the wig, ensuring the flow of the left and right braided pigtails looks natural. Under different poses—whether interacting with one hand pointing to the sky or kneeling sideways on the carpet holding a microphone—I tried my best to find the most natural state. The texture under this dark stage backdrop is incredibly charming, giving me a deeper understanding of restoring this kind of 2D idol vitality in a Casual cosplay routine through our Stage photography session.
