Shooting this set of photos for Sandrone focuses on restoring the contrast of the character—seemingly exquisite and cold on the outside, but hiding gentleness within. The costume chosen is a black and white western-style dress paired with iconic headwear and fluffy cuffs. To highlight the overall gorgeousness, I specifically matched it with white gloves and ruby decorations. In terms of props, I prepared a wine glass as an interactive accessory; under the backlight of the stained glass windows, the amber liquid in the glass can form a nice light and shadow accent. The shooting scene used mirrors with vintage European patterns and church-style stained glass windows. Especially the shot using mirror composition not only added a sense of depth to the picture but also showed the character's various expressions through reflection. The photographer was very careful in controlling the light, allowing the details of the skirt in the dark and the skin tone in the bright areas to retain levels. Although the atmosphere is set to be quiet, I made many attempts in eye contact and hand movements, striving to convey Sandrone's trait of being alienated yet not devoid of warmth. Overall, from costume matching to scene debugging, this is a dedicated interpretation of a Genshin Impact character.
