Creating a pose reference in a pure white studio environment, the focus of this set of photos actually lies in using clean light and shadow to reproduce costume details and body language. This Evanescia look is rich in elements: a pure white structured top paired with a bright red bow tie, gold foil and black overlaid print textures on the shoulders and sleeves, plus a wide black sash at the waist and an accompanying small rabbit charm, making the overall sense of layering very substantial on its own. Meanwhile, the pink wig features a layered cut that is thicker at the top and thinner at the bottom, which, combined with those long white-to-pink gradient ears on top of the head, naturally shifts the visual center upward. Therefore, how to avoid looking top-heavy during the shoot became the key to adjusting posture.

The biggest advantage of a white studio is that there are no cluttered colors vying for attention, allowing all visual focus to concentrate on the character's own structure. In this set of photos, I experimented with several different movement tempos. The photos where I am standing on one leg on a white cylindrical platform actually tested my core strength quite a bit, especially maintaining body stability while managing to swing the red-and-white long blade diagonally upward, with the other hand simultaneously pulling open the wide sleeve to form natural fan-shaped folds in the air. During the shoot, I adjusted my center of gravity several times before finally snapping the split second when the sleeve floated up completely.

Beyond the combat stances, the one holding a beverage counts as a daily relaxed state deliberately added. The bright color of the orange drink cup pops out strikingly against the white background, echoing the red and white props while keeping the clothing's texture highly clear. As for the photo where my upper body leans out of a white carved picture frame, my personal preference for it is very high. The intricate carved patterns on the frame's outer border form a contrast against the sharp and cool combat attire; the character subject is perfectly situated at the dead center of the visual field, beautifully retaining the character's composed temperament when staring directly into the lens.

For the makeup portion, a relatively translucent base was chosen this time, focusing on the layered blending of the eye makeup and the saturation of the lip color. The use of purple colored contacts makes the gaze look more powerful in the frame, just right neutralizing the sweetness easily brought out by the pink hair, making the character look sharper. White studio shoots make light and shadow transitions extremely subtle; facial contours, wig fluffiness, and every single seam on the clothes are clearly outlined by highlights, so the precision and fit of the makeup and styling cannot be neglected in the slightest for this cosplay photography session.

There are also pose references for pulling back and forth and swinging the blade, creating dynamic tension in the frame by throwing the long hair and sleeves into motion. The combination of black high-heeled ankle boots with leg rings and black tights inherently elongates the proportions of the lower body, and the single-leg standing pose happens to magnify this advantage. The entire set of photos cyclically switches among these states—combat, daily life, and static display—hoping to let friends who see it more intuitively experience the visual feedback of this costume and props under different postures, as well as the core techniques for capturing movement during a white studio pose reference shoot as an ACG Cosplayer.
