This photoshoot set shares a custom design cosplay interpretation of Evanescia from Honkai: Star Rail in a school style cosplay. Departing from her official combat stances, I chose to step outside the box with an everyday uniform setting, seeking a life-like anime character portrayal during a bright Spring outdoor photoshoot. The pink wig was the top priority of this look. To give the hair strands a soft and fluffy texture under outdoor natural light, I carefully styled and trimmed the wig beforehand to create an airy feel as if blown by a gentle breeze. The long pink bunny ears on top were the soul of the entire look, accented with golden patterns and paired with a red bow tie and pure white little flower hair ornaments, retaining character recognition while adding a playful youthful charm. For attire, I chose a basic white inner shirt tied with a silky bright red bow tie at the collar; this red-and-white color contrast looked exceptionally photogenic against the background of flowering trees. Over it went a dark gray thin knit cardigan. In the second picture, I intentionally wore it partially off-shoulder in a casual way to break the rigid uniform feel and add a touch of lazy everyday ambience. Below, a navy blue high-waisted pleated skirt complemented the light-colored top for a clean and refreshing look. For eye color, I used purplish-blue colored contacts to make my gaze appear deeper and filled with translucent anime depth. Shooting on a peak blooming day, dense white blossoms formed a perfect natural blurred background, with natural light cascading over branches and hair tips in a soft, gentle radiance. In terms of camera language, the first photo used a salute combined with a hand-shielding-sun pose while holding a large bag to create a dynamic sense of commuting to school; as for the second photo used as the cover, I chose a relaxed, playful wink with an index finger resting gently on my cheek and the other hand on my hip, adding a slice of the character's lively vitality to what was originally clothing-focused expression. As for color grading, my amateur self-taught method revolved around spring color tones—slightly lowering highlight clipping on background blossoms to avoid overexposure while enhancing saturation on my face and pink wig, yielding a bright, warm film texture across the image. Huge thanks to photographer "Chao Fangbianmian" for professional tracking and candid captures, repeatedly adjusting light and angles to catch the most natural moments as flower petals fluttered down. This custom design cosplay set records not only a transformation of character image, but also a relaxed, focused creative period in spring. I hope this anime energy brought by the character can be passed on to everyone through these photos.
