This photoshoot for Cyrene just caught the one-day countdown mark! After spending the entire afternoon working in the studio, the resulting photos turned out pleasantly surprising. The fabric of this dress is a major highlight: under the studio lighting, the satin sheen across the skirt creates a smooth, natural transition from pure white to pink and then to purple. To capture that shimmering, water-like luster, we checked and adjusted the bounce reflector positions with the photographer multiple times. The white sleeves on the upper bodice feature cutout designs with vine-like trimming along the edges, complemented by dimensional blue fabric roses, giving the whole outfit an airy yet richly layered three-dimensional feel.

To match the tone of the outfit, the white block-heel Mary Janes were specifically chosen with plush trims and blue floral accents. Because the seated poses expose my legs, I wore a pair of semi-sheer White stockings patterned with classical motifs. The patterns shimmer subtly beneath the lighting, harmonizing with the pink-and-purple gown to instantly bring out that whimsical, dreamy vibe—definitely one of my favorite visual focal points of this shoot.

The pink wig was trimmed into a textured, layered short cut. Once paired with elf ears and a floating halo veil adorned with pearls and white feathers, the fantasy charm of the entire styling was firmly established. As for makeup, to harmonize with the pink hair and blue-violet colored contacts, I applied soft pink-purple gradients to the eye makeup to emphasize doll-like innocence, along with pronounced blush to maintain a healthy, radiant glow even under bright studio lights.

The magic grimoire prop is very exquisitely crafted; the astrolabe emblem on the cover features a blue-and-gold color scheme, carrying a reassuring weight in hand. During shooting, we incorporated Roman columns and extensive faux floral arrangements—blue and white blossoms blanketed the background, accompanied by draped layers of blue sheer fabric to fill the whole scene. In framing the shots, the photographer thoughtfully captured diverse perspectives: close-ups focused on the footwear and leg contours, three-quarter and full shots displaying the fully fanned-out skirt, and medium close-ups holding the grimoire. To enrich depth and layering, we experimented with several compositional techniques. For example, allowing the blue tulle to drape naturally from the skirt hem, or utilizing the Roman columns along the edges for frame-within-a-frame composition to deepen the depth of field. While seated on the floor, spreading the skirt into a broad fan shape not only displayed the expansive gradient satin, but also drew the eye naturally toward the lines of the legs. To highlight the delicate texture of the White stockings and shoe details, low-angle close-up shots were deliberately captured as well.

The editing process went so smoothly largely because the on-site staging and lighting were spot-on from the start. Softboxes were used to emulate soft natural lighting, eliminating harsh crushed shadows and lending a tender, delicate texture to the skin. With the lighting layers already nailed in-camera, post-production mainly involved fine-tuning skin translucency and slightly lifting the highlights, keeping the overall saturation and brightness within a soothing macaron color palette. The game update drops tomorrow—hope this photo set brings everyone good vibes!
