"Riding the west wind, let's set off!" Tribbie's journey across Omphalos begins with this exact getup. This time, I'm sharing on-site Cosplay convention photos—compared to heavily polished studio edits, candid hall photos capture the genuine vitality and buzz of the event so much better.

Let's talk about the costume first. The overall palette centers around white, red, and metallic luster; the classic red-and-white color scheme yields gorgeous visual layering under the lights. Both the chest and the skirt hem are adorned with white floral motifs, while golden piping and metallic accents give the garments rich three-dimensional structure. I must highlight the massive, gleaming metallic gauntlets on the arms: their water-ripple line patterns and blue gemstone inlays carry satisfying physical weight, making posing feel so much more immersive. The ultimate highlight is undoubtedly the bright yellow star prop in my palm, which, harmonizing with the costume's colors, looks exceptionally bright and spirited.

For hair and makeup, I styled a vivid red short wig, pairing the side hair buns and blunt bangs with a floral headband to accurately capture the character's lively nature. Blue colored contact lenses combined with the eye makeup kept the overall look fresh yet spirited. The footwear also features an asymmetrical design: short boots in black-gold and white-silver colorways each have their own flair, fitting comfortably both visually and physically.

This shoot took place in the event's backstage preparation area. In the photos, you can see large full-length mirrors, resting chairs, backpacks on the floor, and busy fellow cosplayers in the background. In truth, managing lighting and cluttered spaces is the toughest part of hall photos, but we were fortunate that the backstage ceiling fixtures provided abundant diffuse ambient light. Posing on one leg while lifting the star prop tested core balance and facial expression control—striving for the lightness of a mid-air jump while freezing steadily for the lens. The second close-up highlights the details of the upper body and arm gauntlets; leaning slightly forward with the arm guiding outward created strong visual leading lines.

Props often breathe true soul into a character, and this star prop served as a fantastic visual focal point. Moreover, as Cosplay convention photos, there is no need to chase dreamy post-processing VFX—clearly documenting every detail of this Tribbie costume, such as the layered white skirts, red ribbons, and the White stockings cosplay paired with boots, already tells a compelling story. Having the opportunity to roleplay within the Omphalos world in Honkai: Star Rail made the entire convention experience thoroughly fulfilling.

Whenever I attend conventions or events, one of the greatest joys is presenting a carefully prepared character image to everyone. While the aesthetic of convention snapshots differs greatly from studio sessions, this lived-in authenticity resonates much more deeply. Being able to record my passion through garments and photography when time and energy allow is immensely rewarding. Accompanied by this outfit throughout the journey, my mood was exceptionally cheerful. From backstage preparations to stepping out onto the floor, every single step was full of fun.
