Combining a Sakiko Toyokawa cosplay with the world of Ave Mujica is a truly fascinating experience. The main focus of this photoshoot was how to present her unique aloof Anime girl charm alongside the hidden strength within her heart.

For this look, I chose a white collared shirt tied with a slender black bow at the neckline, retaining the character's iconic elements. The pearl buttons on the cuffs added a perfect touch of refined detail to the costume. The lower half features a black-and-gray pleated plaid skirt, with a broad black leather belt nicely accentuating the waistline.

The wig was one of the core elements of this styling. The light blue long curly wig needed a voluminous yet neat texture. I styled straight bangs and drew loose double braids on both sides, tying them with black-and-white striped ribbons. This added a youthful, playful touch while accurately recreating the layered hair look. For makeup, I opted for light brown circle lenses, paired with eye makeup emphasizing lashes and warm-toned blush, giving the face a soft appearance with a calm, serene gaze.

The photoshoot took place in a vintage-style interior featuring large white lace curtains, carved solid wood stairs, and a cozy fabric sofa. This setting perfectly suits the atmosphere of Ave Mujica with a hint of mysterious storytelling. The shot looking back on the stairs is a composition I'm very fond of: the long-sleeved white shirt paired with the pleated plaid skirt, black platform loafers, and white crew socks created a Vintage style outfit that blends prep school charm with her signature mixture of pride and solitude.

During photography, I tried to convey her personality through subtle body language—such as fingertips brushing against lace curtains, standing at a corner holding an off-white chain purse, or lying on a long table gazing into the lens through dim light. The most enjoyable part was shooting on the soft plush sofa; surrounded by comfortable cushions and blankets, resting my cheek on my hand while calmly gazing at the camera made it feel as though I were truly lost in thought. In the final few photos, the floral sets and greenery highlighted the softer side of her inner self.

When it comes to details, I feel Sakiko Toyokawa's demeanor needs to be shaped jointly by outfit and expressions. The folds of the black-and-gray plaid skirt, the crisp white shirt, the smooth wig, and the silver ring on my finger all reflect the original design. A lot of effort went into everything from selecting the wig and clothing to accessorizing. To fit the character, I adjusted the lip color shade to give a healthier glow while harmonizing with the vintage European lighting ambiance.

Portraying a character with a mix of melancholy and resilience was an emotional immersion for me. The chain handbag served as a great prop; lightly swaying it eased my posture. On the vintage staircase, turning back sideways under the warm glow of wall lamps brought the plaid pattern of the skirt and the collar bow into sharp visual focus.

This session combined close-ups and medium shots; the close-ups of leaning on the table and resting my chin on my hand captured the nuances in her gaze effectively. Under soft indoor lighting, the texture of the white shirt appeared nicely translucent. I believe the key to completing this set was capturing her distinct aura. The world of Ave Mujica is full of dramatic tension, and the character carries a complex charm. This is perhaps the true magic of cosplay—bringing a 2D character to life through photography and styling.

As for the environment, there were plenty of wooden elements, picture frames, and wall sconces brimming with classical charm, adding rich layers to the visuals. Although the character has dramatic emotional arcs, I wanted to present a quiet, authentic moment. The clean white top and black-and-gray plaid skirt make a classic color combo—cool and crisp. Simple white socks paired with platform shoes created contrast while accentuating leg lines.

I paid special attention to the cuff design in this set; those three pearl buttons added lively detail with every gesture. I also adjusted the angle of the black-and-white hair ribbons many times so they draped naturally along the strands. Whether standing, sitting, or looking down slightly on the stairs, I strove to maintain her cool, distant demeanor.
