Putting on this strawberry-themed outfit and walking into this sun-drenched grass, I completely immersed myself in the pastoral atmosphere belonging to Sakiko Toyokawa. This group of photos captures not only the coziness of a picnic but also the freezing of strawberry-picking Saki-chan and Strawberry Sakiko at this exact moment.

The theme for this shoot is positioned as a strawberry picnic, so the styling specifically emphasizes the consistency of strawberry elements throughout. From the tiny strawberry embroideries on the collar and cuffs of the white puff-sleeved shirt, to the red-and-white checkered bow ties on both sides, to the layered main red skirt and pink-and-white ruffles, every detail attempts to echo that fresh, sweet girlish feel. The pink checkered tie at the waist and the red velvet choker beautifully retain that unique exquisiteness and temperament of Sakiko Toyokawa in Ave Mujica. The white short apron serves as an embellishment, increasing the layers of the entire outfit, perfectly matching the setup of walking through the fields holding a basket. The light blue twin-tails wig looks exceptionally soft under the transmission of sunlight, paired with a clear, natural makeup look, hoping to present a softer side of the character in spring.

To restore this picnic scene, I prepared a pink picnic mat covered in strawberry patterns in advance, as well as a tightly packed wicker basket meticulously filled with many fresh simulation strawberries with green leaves, detailed down to the stems of the strawberries. We chose an outdoor grass plot right next to a flower field, where the warm yellow flowers and lush green plants in the background formed a natural scroll painting. The light on the afternoon of the shoot carried an inherently gentle texture; when backlighting and front lighting interwoven, the ruffles of the skirt hem and the wig strands were illuminated with translucency.

Regarding shooting poses, I also experimented with several different states. For instance, holding the wicker basket while standing in the flower bushes to look back against the light, or kneeling on the picnic mat quietly picking through strawberries. Among them, the composition of holding a strawberry by my cheek with a smile is an interaction detail I'm highly satisfied with; it not only creates a natural connection between the figure and props but also allows the frame to present a relaxed, slow-time state rather than rigid posing. During the outdoor photoshoot, a gentle breeze brushed across the skirt hem and hair tips from time to time, making the live atmosphere exceptionally vivid. To capture those moments of light, shadow, and wind, cooperation with the photographer was particularly vital.

As a Sakiko Toyokawa cosplay, audiences usually see more of her appearance on stage, but this time, leveraging the IP of Ave Mujica to try this sweet outdoor picnic style counts as a completely brand-new experience. Through this outdoor shoot, I feel even more deeply that this kind of everyday character creation similarly requires investing energy to contemplate. The layering of costumes, the arrangement of props, and the control of facial expressions all need to fit the context. I hope this set of photos completed amidst flower fragrance and grass can let everyone feel a different cute charm of Sakiko Toyokawa, and I hope it can provide some reference on composition and prop application for friends who like Outdoor cosplay. Sunlight, strawberries, and flower bushes constituted the most perfect outing memory this time for our Anime-style photography.
