This shoot focused on the styling for Hyacinthia cosplay from Honkai: Star Rail. After several rounds of pattern adjustments and sample tailoring, we finally achieved the red-and-white dress look presented before you. The gold-trimmed white plush mini hat atop the head is the soul of the entire ensemble; the soft white fur trim along the brim, paired with the gilded gold frame, instantly elevated the character's exquisite charm. The pink twin-tails were another highlight; to make the hairstyle look voluminous and airy, a specialized inner wig cap was used along with layered heat-styling techniques. The large blue bow on the chest rests right above the collarbones, which not only brightened the frame but also provided an ingenious color transition across the classic red-and-white palette. The white lace ruffles circling the neckline neatly framed the jawline, making facial contours appear more delicate and petite. The primary red fabric shows a soft matte texture under the studio lights, with custom heavy gold embroidery patches adorning the bodice and skirt hem. The white plush creature charm at the waist was an indispensable cute accent, secured steadily with internal magnetic clasps. The white pleated miniskirt on the lower half used multi-layered lightweight tulle splicing, with an inner lining designed to prevent wardrobe malfunctions while maintaining a natural, fluffy flare. White stockings paired with black patent leather shoes, where the red bows on the shoe vamps echoed the blue bow at the neckline in a playful color dialogue. The set specially featured a golden hoop swing and stained-glass windows, casting dappled light across the skirt. In the foreground, purple, pink, and blue artificial flowers created a dreamy depth of field, while a white dove statue stood by to enhance the fairytale texture. During the shoot, because the swing structure could easily catch stray hair strands, we mostly adopted seated and semi-reclined poses. Lighting utilized large softboxes for diffuse reflection to prevent unwanted color cast from the stained glass on the face, ensuring a translucent complexion while crisply preserving the texture of the White stockings and the golden embroidery on the outfit. The entire photo set had its white balance calibrated, with environmental reds slightly toned down in post-processing to make the overall image radiant yet rich in texture for this Dreamy photoshoot. As a cosplay work from Honkai: Star Rail, the detail presentation of this styling was very rich, and I hope it faithfully conveys the character's lively and graceful aura.
