This time I bring you an Ukinami Yuzuha Cosplay official photoshoot share from Zenless Zone Zero. To recreate the character's image of a girl with a somewhat grotesque tech vibe, the makeup and styling heavily focused on the green eyes and iconic red hair. This side-braided pigtail wig took much more time to style than expected; not only did I have to create a natural hair texture for this Red hair cosplay, but I also had to mind the flow and thickness of the hair strands. I'm quite satisfied with the final silhouette.

The costume features a highly detailed pink diamond-pattern patchwork sailor collar design paired with a wide white bow tie, and the overall fit aligns perfectly with the character design. During the shoot, we intentionally used close-up shots from various angles to highlight the character's lazy, casual, and slightly mysterious atmosphere. Since the raw output from the front camera captures light quite directly, I specifically adjusted the indoor light source angles to mimic the slightly cool color palette found in the game.

Regarding props, the headphones with pink cables are absolutely the soul element of this outfit, instantly maxing out the grotesque yet cute sci-fi attributes. However, during the actual shoot, wearing them for a long time indeed put pressure on my ears and the top of my head, but I powered through for the final result. The makeup this time emphasized a soft-focus mist effect for the eyes, which, paired with the highly saturated green colored contacts, successfully created a unique sense of aloofness and playfulness. Actually, in the process of doing Anime cosplay, restoring the physical appearance is just the foundation; what's more important is conveying the character's unique temperament through micro-expressions and gaze. Across several sets of movements, I tried adding interactive gestures like poking my cheek with a finger, resting my chin on my hand, and scratching, attempting to express her state of being immersed in her own world. Ultimately, I am quite satisfied with how the final photos presented the details of this costume, makeup, and props in this Zenless Zone Zero Cosplay piece.
