Preparing this Zenless Zone Zero Yixuan cosplay look from makeup test to actual shoot took considerable thought, especially regarding how to pair glossy leather textures with white hair accessories without looking bulky, while maintaining the sharp, intellectual vibe of the character's lore.

Starting with the Cosplay outfit itself: the black jacket on top serves as the visual centerpiece. Crafted from glossy black leather material, its tailoring utilizes crisp black lines and white geometric stitching to enrich depth. Light blue floral decorations and a white bow tie at the collar inject a cool, unique touch into the overall black-and-white cool tones. Sheer black mesh panels on both sides of the waist offer a wonderful detail in this Leather jacket cosplay, adding visual breathability to an otherwise heavy leather jacket while preserving the uniform's tailored waistline. Paired with a focused gaze, this gesture emphasizes the composed, rational, and efficient temperament inherent in Yixuan cosplay. The studio shoot utilized a seamless pure white backdrop with bright, high-key studio lighting. The advantage of this setting lies in maximizing glossy reflections on leather fabric, though it requires strict glare management to prevent blown-out highlights from obscuring costume details. Post-processing focused primarily on white balance calibration and skin tone unification, keeping overall visuals crisp and luminous.

Touching on a behind-the-scenes episode: because the tight leather jacket over inner layers and accessories felt snug, I performed chest expansions and waist stretches before shooting to prevent movement restrictions during dramatic twisting poses. Standing in high heels for prolonged periods also challenged my arches; after several sets, my ankles felt sore, yet this raw wearing experience gave me a deeper understanding of the garment's fit and movement tolerance during performance.

I'm quite satisfied with the final presentation of this look. The high-contrast black-and-white color scheme combined with contrasting textures—leather, mesh, pleated fabric—prevents clutter while preserving iconic Zenless Zone Zero character recognition. Next time, if a suitable outdoor venue presents itself, perhaps we can capture a totally different style.
