The Convention photos from CD30 have finally been sorted out. Lao Yuan's sense of camera framing and composition is truly unique and inspired, perfectly capturing that doll-like charm with a mischievous little devil flair from Flandre's fan-made design. This Blonde Western-style dress has countless details: from the multi-layered lace trim on the large bonnet and the red heart sunglasses to the brown teddy bear sewn onto the skirt and the colorful beaded bracelets on my wrists, everything required meticulous dressing. In particular, assembling and adjusting the black arched wing prop with hanging colorful gemstones behind my back took quite some time. The floor was hard during shooting, but sitting on a white plush rug made it much more comfortable. To showcase the character's agility and the Blonde Western-style dress design, Lao Yuan guided me through various poses—such as lying on my back, sitting sideways, and leaning forward with an outstretched hand—focusing on leg lines and silhouette highlights. Paired with lace ankle cuffs and white lace-up sandals, the overall visual presentation looked stunning. The red apple was the finishing touch; whether held in hand or placed nearby, it strongly amplified the character's mysterious vibe. During shooting, constant micro-adjustments were needed for the layered fabric and hat angle, which really tested our coordination. Our teamwork was seamless, resulting in a very high yield of great shots. Given the chaotic background of an anime convention, achieving such clean and textured shots on-site was no easy feat. The costume is primarily made of multi-layered lace and tulle, creating great volume, though layering the petticoat and apron concentrated weight around the waist, requiring extra posture care while seated to prevent the dress from looking deformed or bulky. In the reclining shot, the frame bracket behind formed a perfect framing composition, enclosing the subject to instantly evoke an immersive atmosphere.
