This time I cosplayed Cheshire's Snow White look from Azur Lane, which just happened to line up with this anime expo, so I arranged with Pulao-laoshi on-site to help shoot this set of convention photos. To be completely honest, cosplaying such a gorgeous big gown at an anime convention really requires quite a bit of courage because the venue has a massive flow of people and the ground isn't clean enough. However, to recreate the character's fairy tale feel, we still prepared a white plush carpet and some minor props in advance, trying our best to make the final cuts look clean and dreamy.

I spent quite a lot of thought adjusting the costume details. The main body is a white corset that tightens at the waist, which makes the waistline look quite nice. The light blue tulle overlaid on the outside and the wide, deep blue-purple ruffles at the bottom of the skirt hem form a sense of color layering. The tiny silver rhinestones scattered across the fabric surface are a major plus; under direct flash or the reflections from the exhibition hall's ceiling lights, the entire dress has that twinkling, glowing feeling. The sleeves are my favorite part—the detached design is highly exaggerated, and the wide sleeves similarly feature blue shimmering fabric with delicate white lace stitched along the edges, looking like two fluffy clouds.

For head accessories, I chose a white flat-topped top hat with a matching blue ribbon tied into a bow on the side. A long, semi-translucent veil cascades down from the back of the hat, which can be lightly rearranged to create a weightless feeling akin to a mini bridal veil. The hairstyle features a silver-gray wig, with cyan-blue highlights specifically added to the hair ends to echo the blue elements on my body, making it look more layered. For makeup, I chose a relatively clear and translucent base combined with lake-blue colored contacts and pink lip glaze to give my gaze a softer appearance.

During the session, the photographer had me try several different action poses, such as sitting formally holding a white rose, semi-reclining to let the skirt hem fill the frame composition, and standing while facing the camera with both hands cradling the flowers. I personally prefer the movement of naturally extending my hand out, which is picture 4. This angle happens to clearly show the lace patterns and rings on the gloves, and the posture of my fingertips stretching forward gives the entire photo a powerful sense of interaction. It matches perfectly with the feeling of "My dear, I'm here to pick you up~" that I wanted to convey this time. The white tights and the short design of the skirt hem in the frame also happen to reveal the legs, showcasing the character's refined yet vibrant state.

The lighting on-site was actually quite difficult to control. Behind us was the exhibition hall's black backdrop and framework, along with many passing silhouettes. It relied entirely on the photographer using high-speed flash to overpower the ambient light, illuminating the main subject brightly while darkening the background, making the entire set of photos look as clean as if they were shot in a studio. The white plush mat padded on the ground was a huge help, providing a clean base whether sitting or side-lying.

To be honest, weaving through the crowd in this outfit while constantly staying mindful of not having the long skirt hem and the lace on the sleeves stepped on was quite a test of stamina. However, after these photos came out, I felt that all the hard preparation beforehand and the various adjustments on-site were completely worth it. The photographer's snapshot speed was also extremely fast, quickly catching the moment my skirt hem fluttered or when my expression was at its most natural even in the noisy environment. Overall, whether it's the expressiveness of the costume or the alignment of the makeup and hair, it achieved the results I expected for this piece of portrait photography and Anime-style fashion.
