When shooting this Phrolova look from Wuthering Waves, the main difficulty lay in controlling the flow of the long red ribbons and presenting the right posture in front of the camera. The convention venue was crowded with a cluttered background, so we adopted low-angle upward shots to filter out the background while also elongating leg lines more effectively. In terms of costume, the white bandeau intertwines with red and black elements; in particular, the Black stockings on the legs feature red woven textures, which, paired with glossy red high heels, faithfully deliver the cool and glamorous allure of the original design. The red cord prop held in hand needed to be swung into specific arcs. In this set of photos, photographer Qiwu captured the lighting masterfully, with floor reflections enhancing the depth and layering of the composition. To accommodate the low-angle upward perspective, I deliberately shifted my center of gravity and naturally raised one hand, letting the cuffs and long hair flow with the wind to give the overall presentation a dance-like tension. Wearing this outfit involves many details, such as multiple leather buckles and straps within the skirt hem—it actually carries noticeable weight when walking, requiring conscious effort to keep the styling neat during dynamic movements. Post-processing preserved the high-saturation contrast of the original Red and black color scheme, making it visually impactful on screen. For styling that incorporates Black stockings and intricate accessories, proper posing and steady hand gestures are key to great results. I hope everyone can feel the unique atmosphere this look delivered at the convention.
