[Furina cosplay] Genshin Impact Furina, A Textured Record of Interwoven Blue and White

This set of photos was shot on an urban outdoor terrace with a broad view, relying on the natural soft light of a cloudy day to present the overall frame. When selecting this outdoor location, my primary consideration was that the blurred city high-rises and green trees in the background could form a clean, cool-toned base, which beautifully matches the visual effect of the white hair with blue highlights.

In the process of preparing this look, handling the wig was the first step. I adopted a color scheme of a white base transitioning into ice blue; the hair strands were thinned and slightly curled, and air-soft hair bundles were intentionally retained at the top. Paired with a deep-blue glossy satin ribbon bow tied on the side, it beautifully modifies the face shape from the front while maintaining the character's signature flowing elegance.

Regarding the costume, for the top, I chose this white long-sleeved shirt with a fabric that carries a soft, satin-like luster. The neckline features delicate lace trim patchwork punctuated by rounded pearl buttons; these details effectively elevate the overall sophistication. The cuffs adopt an oversized ruffled design, where the layered pleats exhibit rich light and dark gradations under the outdoor illumination. The lower body is paired with dark navy high-waisted shorts with a highly crisp fit; the three-dimensional pleats on both sides, the vintage embroidered patterns along the trouser hems, and the tiny metal rivets provide the simple bottom piece with much more durable local details.

To increase the styling's layering and uniqueness for this Cosplay sharing, I specially hung a metal accessory with a blue semi-transparent sphere at my waist. The tassels and blue teardrop gemstones dangling below form an excellent top-and-bottom echo with the black leather leg rings worn at the thighs. The leg rings combine silver metal rings and hang with keys and blue teardrop-shaped pendants, paired with white calf-length socks and black platform buckle leather shoes. This visual combination preserves the liveliness of the Anime cosplay while adding a trace of crisp fashionability.

For the makeup, I chose a lightweight, clean, and clear base, placing the focus on the eye makeup. I wore bright, clear light-blue contact lenses, which, combined with elongated eyelashes, make the gaze more focused and spirited. Paired with the light hair color, this makes the facial contours appear more three-dimensional and clean as a part of my Cosplayer daily life.

During the shoot, I carried a white plush rabbit as a prop; its floppy-ear design and soft appearance beautifully softened the cool color scheme of the overall styling. To exhibit the design of the costume and accessories, I attempted postures such as standing and reaching out, as well as squatting while holding the rabbit. In the squatting stance, the leg rings and the hem design of the shorts can be displayed to the maximum extent, making the frame's composition more substantial. While color grading the entire set of photos later, I controlled the warm-cold contrast and maintained a leaning-cool blue-and-white tone, allowing the character to naturally merge with the city backdrop while retaining the light-and-dark details and the clothing's luster under illumination. This shooting and organizing process gave me a more comprehensive understanding of this styling, and I hope it can transmit the character's clean and independent temperament atmosphere.
