The tempo of this convention shoot was quite fast-paced, yet the textural presence of the Section 6 uniform genuinely required meticulous attention. The entire costume features rich layering: the white inner shirt needed to be ironed completely crisp, and the black ribbon at the collar had to be positioned dead-center to anchor the asymmetrical black-and-cyan paneled coat over it. The mechanical pauldron on the left shoulder is packed with detail—not only does it feature geometric engravings, but the eye emblem and fringed tassel insignia also served as vital visual anchors before the lens; this rigid material required mindful angling during shooting to prevent harsh glares from top lights. The high-waisted skirt's tailoring is sharply form-fitting, with the front metallic buttons and multiple leather buckle straps requiring firm fastening to ensure they wouldn't shift or appear bulky during dynamic posing. While the slit design on the lower half added some caution regarding movement, pairing it with glossy black high heels elongated the leg lines beautifully, exuding crisp, sharp agility. To lean visually closer to the character's capable polish, I chose skin-toned sheer tights as Stockings to sculpt the legs, granting them an even, elegant sheen on camera.

On the makeup front, the focus rested on eye definition. To align with that composed, intellectually dignified demeanor, the foundation was kept sheer and matte, while eye contours were deepened. The slim round metallic wireframe glasses served as the crowning touch—not only framing the face flatteringly, but instantly elevating the character's scholarly poise and reserved distance. The wig is a soft pastel-pink bob with blunt bangs, subtly curled inward at the ends to soften the otherwise rigid, structured combat gear. Throughout the shoot, adjusting the bangs and glasses alone took considerable time, as the slightest misalignment would break that strict, disciplined aesthetic.

Regarding props, the long blade was an undeniable showstopper. The silver metallic paint on the blade and the cyan-black hilt carried instant recognition, though it demanded extra care regarding balance and center of gravity during poses. To achieve a poised and commanding frame, I chose to sit atop a black stepladder with legs gracefully crossed. This not only showcased the skirt and leg details, but also utilized the vertical height difference of the steps to give the composition three-dimensional depth. Letting the right hand rest naturally while holding the sheathed blade down, while the left hand gently adjusted the frame of the glasses, was a gesture discovered serendipitously during test shots; paired with a slightly tilted chin, it effortlessly projected the character's composed mastery. Another slender black rod prop was utilized to simulate the handling stance of an alternative combat implement.

The shooting location featured a dark-toned industrial setting with coarse concrete flooring. Pairing this textured environment with dedicated studio strobes brought out the subject with striking clarity. Facial fill light needed to be soft to prevent casting harsh shadows behind the glasses, while lighting across the legs had to be smoothly balanced to pop against the dark backdrop—which is why full-body framing was chosen to accentuate full costume proportions. During the shoot, I consciously regulated my breathing, held a laser-sharp focus in my eyes, and minimized facial fluctuations to sustain that calm, disciplined composure. All in all, while managing the wardrobe and heavy props took physical stamina, the final photos achieved the exact atmospheric presence I had envisioned.
