This set of Remielle convention photos took the longest time to shoot during this entire anime expo. The costume mainly features a white fitted corset structure, adorned with a silver cross metal clasp and light blue tassels on the chest, along with cutout detailing around the waist to add a sense of lightness. The detachable flared sleeves worn on the outside are secured via buckles and straps, featuring ruffles and lace at the cuffs; larger arm movements easily cause them to slide down, requiring frequent adjustments. The pair of wing props on the back is pieced together from rigid materials with a substantial wingspan, carrying considerable weight when actually strapped on, so I had to be extra cautious when walking to avoid bumping into passersby.

The wig is a short cut with a pink-to-white gradient, accessorized with silver hairpins across the forehead and sides. Paired with pink-purple contact lenses and heavily blended pink eye makeup, the overall makeup leans toward an anime dreaminess. To harmonize with the venue's cool-white lighting and reflective flooring, we dedicated considerable effort to scouting camera angles. With high foot traffic at the convention, finding a spot that offered both a clean backdrop and floor reflections wasn't easy; we ultimately selected a relatively open area in the corner of the hall, shooting swiftly during gaps in the crowd.

Pose design primarily revolved around the lines of the legs and the wings. Because I was wearing white lace-trimmed thigh-high White stockings and silver high heels, simply standing would diminish the visual tension of the outfit and props. Therefore, kneeling and semi-crouching poses were used while fully spreading the wings, which filled the frame's width much more effectively in the lens. The reflective floor cast faint reflections under the cool light, adding subtle depth to the composition without needing extra fill light—the ambient venue light was sufficient.

Many assume that cosplaying winged characters is effortless, but from gearing up to wrapping the shoot, the entire process is a true test of physical stamina and core strength. Particularly in a kneeling posture, controlling the body's center of gravity is crucial, as the slightest instability compromises the entire pose. Unlike studio shoots, convention photography offers neither pristine sets nor endless retakes; it is more like a rapid test of impromptu adaptability and character comprehension. Under limited conditions, I strived to convey Remielle's gentle yet slightly aloof aura through body language, bringing out the texture of the garments and the fine details of the props.

Although shooting at the convention was somewhat exhausting, seeing how the light, shadows, and details turned out in the final photos made every bit of preparation and adjustment completely worthwhile. I'll continue to explore more diverse styles for in-person shoots moving forward, seeking breakthroughs in scenes and posing, aiming to bring every character's traits to life even more vividly.
