[Zhongli cosplay] Genshin Impact: Playing a Zither Melody to Accompany You Home

In this set of client photos featuring Zhongli cosplay completed at a selfie studio, the focus is on capturing the character's serene and unhurried composure.

The Chinese traditional style scene uses wooden lattice windows, a tea table, and green bamboo as the backdrop, seamlessly blending classical aesthetics into the frame. Regarding the costume, the modified Chinese design in black, red, and gold paired with metallic pauldrons beautifully outlines the character's silhouette, while the orange highlights on the wig deliver rich layered details.

Prop preparation was exceptionally thorough: a solid wood zither, a bronze teapot, thread-bound books, and a calligraphy brush were all integrated naturally into the scene's ambiance. In the scenes involving zither playing and holding a brush, poses emphasized natural relaxation, with finger placements carefully aligned with authentic traditional hand gestures to avoid stiffness.

As for lighting, the photographer used warm-toned lanterns and tabletop candlesticks as primary ambient light sources to evoke an indoor dusk palette. Paired with soft frontal fill light, this rendered sharp facial contours and a clear, translucent skin tone. This warm-toned lighting faithfully brought out the texture of the wooden furniture and the metallic reflections of the costume accessories.

A major advantage of shooting in a selfie studio is saving transition time, with a complete set of props readily available and easy to set up. Although portraying a male character, great effort was made through makeup, hair, and expression control to convey a composed and restrained visual impression. Elongated eye makeup deepened the eye contours, which, combined with face contouring, enhanced the three-dimensional quality of the facial features. The entire process involved seamless coordination and smooth communication with the photographer in Cosplay photography.

This set primarily features two key scenarios—playing the zither and holding a brush—alongside a unique composition of gazing into a mirror reflection. The moment the shutter clicked, a tranquil and relaxed atmosphere was created, aligning beautifully with the poetic theme of "accompanying you home."
