Stepping into the ProPlayer studio, the moment I saw that old CRT monitor, the vintage white landline phone, and the English newspapers scattered across the office desk, my 'Liyue Secretary' workstation atmosphere was instantly maxed out. The theme of this shoot was very clear: to recreate that office image of being slightly exhausted from daily overtime but always maintaining a passion for work. Since her official lore has always featured secretary and overtime memes, a classic Office Lady secretary cosplay look with a white shirt, a black bodycon miniskirt, black stockings, and patent leather high heels was undoubtedly the most fitting choice.

The texture and cut of the white shirt looked very sharp in front of the lens, and paired with the blue tie and work ID, it immediately created a sense of visual immersion, like processing various complex public affairs at Liyue Harbor. The combination of black stockings and shoes was an indispensable visual center for this shoot. The opacity of the stockings was just right, presenting a very natural luster under the soft studio lighting, and combined with the elongated lines of the high heels, it allowed the overall styling to not only maintain the character's cool demeanor but also add a touch of mature professional charm. The scattered paper airplane decorations in the venue also added a hint of Anime-style photography agility to the originally serious office environment.

The coordination with the photographer went incredibly smoothly this time. To interpret the contrasting feel of 'working overtime until groggy yet needing to maintain elegance,' we tried compositions from various angles. For example, when kneeling on the ground to pick up reports flying everywhere, I had to balance the skirt details and stability of the center of gravity; also, the posture of curling up my legs on the chair to read documents relaxed the body while showcasing slender leg lines through a high camera position. The hardest part to control during the shoot was actually that 'inadvertent' relaxation. Like the shot standing on the cabinet holding up a high heel with one hand—it looks casual, but actually, I had to manage expressions while maintaining physical balance. Because that action required one leg to exert force while the body tilted slightly backward to coordinate with the hand movement, ensuring the clothing looked neat while keeping the bodily form fluid and natural, it took several attempts to capture the most satisfying effect.

The desk lamp on the old office desk emitted a warm yellow light, casting onto the vintage computer screen and keyboard, directly pulling the time back to the turn of the millennium. This stacking of details gave the entire set a strong narrative feel. As the character herself, her meticulousness at work and her silent endurance of heavy public affairs actually resonate with my mindset as a cosplayer who constantly refines work details and copes with complex shooting challenges. Although we shot in the studio for several hours, and various high-difficulty poses made my waist and legs a bit sore, seeing the frozen frames on the screen made it all feel completely worth it. In front of the lens, those moments about the workplace, about overtime, and even about a little bit of laziness were all truly recorded. This kind of creation that is close to life yet carries a bit of an anime filter is probably what attracts me most about Chongqing cosplay.
