[Dyadia Cosplay] The Diviner from Honor of Kings, IJoy Convention Photos Sharing

The convention photos from IJoy have been organized. This time featuring Dyadia from Honor of Kings, the overall pace of the shoot was very comfortable, and I am quite satisfied with the final shots.

First, let's talk about the hair and head styling. The long straight mint green hair and the pair of curved horn ornaments with red-and-black textures on top are the most eye-catching parts of the whole appearance. The eye makeup was specially chosen with reddish-purple contact lenses to pair with it, and the contrast with the hair color gives the eyes a sense of mystery. The small red mark right in the center of the forehead also serves as a finishing touch.

The upper body outfit structure is very layered, with a strong sense of dimensional layering. On the innermost layer is a white stand-up collar base top, while the outer layer features stitched geometric armor with red lines outlined against a black and gray background. The colorful geometric print right in front of the chest is the highlight of the top; the mix of red, blue, and purple fills the overall look's color palette.

The most outstanding feature of this costume is its extra-wide sleeve cuffs. The outer side is red with gold flame-and-cloud patterns, but when the sleeves are flipped up, the inner lining reveals bright green printed with white concentric circle vortex patterns. This bold red-and-green contrasting combination looks exceptionally harmonious and impactful under the lighting, with the blue-green patchwork at the sleeve cuffs adding subtle details.

For the lower body, light pink stockings with heart patterns were chosen. This choice not only fits the color palette of the character design itself but also adds a playful and cute vibe visually. On the feet are red-and-white chunky heels; the silver buckles and thick red sole design maintain high visual unity with the primary red tone of the upper top.

During the shoot, a black stepladder stool inside the venue was borrowed as a supporting prop. Sitting on it with crossed legs naturally showcases the fabric drape of the outfit and the leg lines. When raising arms, the wide sleeves fall naturally, revealing the green printed lining. The photographer captured this angle very well, including the design details of the outfit in different poses into the convention photos.

The lighting inside the IJoy venue that day was quite mixed, but with the photographer's cooperation, leveraging large floor-to-ceiling natural light and on-site lighting equipment, the quality of light and shadow came out exceptionally well. Because the headpiece and the shoulder horns were relatively wide, I had to control my center of gravity slightly while walking, but walking around the venue with this look turned so many heads, with many passersby asking which character this was.

From preparing props to completing the shoot, a lot of time was spent adjusting the wig and securing the headpiece. However, seeing this thrilling live convention photo record, I feel all the prep work was worth it. As an anime-style photography enthusiast, personally performing and recording such a unique design was a very fresh cosplay experience.
