Putting on this Cheshire Cat cosplay maid outfit, the very first thing to do was confirm whether the positions of all the lace and bows were accurate. The cat ears and metal decorations on the headpiece have many details, requiring careful adjustment when securing them to ensure they don't tilt in front of the lens. The skirt is richly layered, with a fluffy petticoat inside and a dark blue and black color-blocking velvet texture on the outside. Paired with white ruffled oversleeves and a bowtie, the overall visual weight is substantial, but it actually feels quite lightweight when moving around.
To restore the character's light and slightly mysterious atmosphere, a pure white plush carpet was chosen as the background, as clean lighting can better highlight the contrast between the dark colors of the costume itself and the white. During the shoot, I tried both standing and sitting poses; when standing, the skirt hem falls naturally, showing the most relaxed lines, while sitting can display the length of the cuffs and the details of the stockings. As a cosplayer, every time I do an Anime cosplay, I hope to get as close to the original design as possible. The pattern and accessories of this outfit are highly sophisticated, especially the sheer veil on the headpiece and the waist straps, which all underwent careful restoration to achieve high costume accuracy. Throughout the shooting process, the camera angles were repeatedly adjusted to make the frame composition clean and sharp, avoiding background clutter from distracting the vision. From makeup and hair to movement design, everything was thought out to present her lazy and playful vibe. I hope that through this set of photos, fellow fans can feel the character's unique charm.
