Now that this Blue and white porcelain themed Altria cosplay set has reached this stage of retouching, it's a great time to organize the shooting details. The shooting environment was a minimalist white studio using a fundamental four-light configuration—four lights evenly distributed with distinct key and fill separation, free of distracting clutter. The resulting lighting is smooth and clean, perfectly matching the cool, translucent texture of Blue and white porcelain. The large softboxes eliminated harsh facial shadows while rendering the blue-and-white patterns crisp and sharp.
For hair and makeup, the blonde hair faithful to the character was paired with a cool-toned porcelain base and softly blended pink eye makeup, linking her persona directly with the delicate feel of fine china. The garment silhouette is very distinctive: a halter mandarin collar combined with cutouts and side slits, requiring deliberate posture adjustments to achieve ideal waistlines and leg proportions. Styled with over-the-knee White stockings and white block-heeled pumps, the 2D aesthetic harmonizes flawlessly with the classical charm of the Qipao.
The accompanying tall Blue and white porcelain vase and flowing water-sleeve fabrics served as wonderful supportive props. Keeping hand gestures natural during shooting allowed the draping sleeves to enrich the frame's composition. To flatter the cutouts and leg lines, positions were continually fine-tuned to ensure bodily dynamics remained aesthetic without breaking posture tension. A basic white backdrop with a four-light arrangement truly tests garment craftsmanship and skin texture—with zero background distractions, all visual focus converges on the fabric patterns of the Blue and white porcelain Qipao, the fit of the tailoring, and the pairing of White stockings with leather heels. There are still many photos to retouch, so this set serves as an interim progress record.
