This set of Law of Cycles cosplay Convention photos was taken at the Water City comic convention, and the process was actually considerably more troublesome than expected. Because the costume itself was quite heavy—especially the wings on my back, whose frame required careful angle adjustments to look good—walking around the convention hall easily risked bumping into passing attendees, so I had to be cautious throughout. The wig was long pink hair, trimmed multiple times to achieve the right bangs length; a lot of effort went into styling the hair to recreate that airy, weightless feel. I chose light-colored contact lenses paired with pink eye makeup, which gave a translucent look under indoor lighting.
In terms of costume details, the neckline design of the white dress is unique, with the ruby ornament on the chest and the pink ruffles at the cuffs balancing each other perfectly. What satisfied me most was the blue starry petticoat under the skirt and the pink wings with white gradients, creating a rich layered effect from the side. Pairing White stockings with high heels, alongside the bow and arrow prop in hand, made the entire ensemble feel complete. The lighting at the convention was rather complex—especially the indoor overhead lights, which tended to cast harsh shadows across the face—so when posing for photos, I deliberately sought out angles with better lighting and relatively clean backdrops.
Four photographers kindly took many photos for me, and I selected these four: the first three are half-body shots, and the fourth is a full-body composition holding the bow. This pose holds dynamic visual tension, fully displaying both the skirt train and the wings behind me, so I chose it as the cover. Every costume carries its own weight and texture; though shooting was exhausting, being able to present the character's divine, dreamlike presence before the camera made it feel complete and rewarding in 2D spirit.
