This time shooting this blue and white bunny ear dress of Azur Lane Laffey, the overall experience was very pleasant, and the resulting photos also have a strong soft and cute vibe. The scene chosen was a solid color studio, mainly paired with a white classical pillar and a round, yellow little yellow chick plush toy. The color scheme of the entire frame is very clean and refreshing.
In terms of makeup and styling, the wig chose long purple-toned twintails with fluffy, slightly wavy hair strands. When grooming, attention was paid mainly to the layering of the bangs on the forehead to avoid looking heavy. A huge dark blue bow on top of the head is paired with metal-textured small parts. The fluffy bunny ears and light blue ribbons hanging down on both sides are the finishing touches, adding a dynamic feel to the frame when walking or making movements. The makeup maintains a clear and natural look, with emphasis on enlarging the eyes and creating an atmospheric blush. Light brown-pink circle lenses were chosen to make the gaze look gentler.
The details of the costume are extremely rich. The blue and white alternating dress features a bunny-shaped cutout design on the chest, a carrot-shaped pendant hanging at the neckline, and light blue translucent ribbons dotted on the skirt hem and waist. The wide lantern sleeves have blue and white striped cuffs, with long ribbons hanging down that look particularly nice when swung. The lower body is paired with white stockings, which have good elasticity and fit, with excellent anti-slip cuff effects. There is no need to worry about slipping down when shooting various sitting or squatting poses, while visually modifying the leg lines very well.
The studio lighting used two softboxes, illuminating from the front and side respectively. The color temperature leans toward cool white, which ensures an even and translucent skin tone while making the blue and white tones on the clothing look cleaner. In terms of shooting poses, they were mainly designed around Laffey's lazy and cute personality. I tried kneeling on the ground to gaze at the little yellow chick, or half-squatting on a white circular platform with one hand raised to touch the bunny ear. To showcase the lightness of the costume, I would deliberately let the sleeves drop naturally and let the ribbons form random arcs. When standing or squatting, utilizing the visual proportion of the skirt and stockings can better highlight the leg lines.
I am extremely satisfied with the restoration degree of the entire costume; the detail processing is very well-done, and whether it's the metal accessories or the layering of the fabric, it stands up to close-up shots. During the shooting process, as long as you keep your body relaxed and interact naturally with the props, you can capture many vivid moments.
