[Gongsun Li Cosplay] Honor of Kings: Default Skin Photoshoot and Experience

The preparation for this set of Honor of Kings Gongsun Li Cosplay photoshoot (default skin) took about a week. The red, black, and gold color scheme is exceptionally classic, with the intricate golden embroidery on the black trousers being particularly well-detailed. The thigh side slits paired with red-soled black platform ultra-high heels visually elongate the leg lines tremendously, though performing single-leg standing poses while maintaining an airy, flowing aesthetic severely tested core strength.

The second photo was the most physically demanding shot of the entire shoot: balancing on one foot atop a white round platform while steadying the translucent orange oil-paper umbrella in hand. To keep the long bunny ears from brushing against the backdrop, I held this pose for nearly fifteen minutes until both the ribbons and long sleeves reached their optimal arc. The twisting movement in Photo 3 complemented the over-the-shoulder gaze, while the backward lean in Photo 4 highlighted the garment's layering.

During this Studio shoot, we specifically chose top lighting paired with side lighting so that the umbrella's texture under translucent illumination and the shadows cast across the background felt deeply narrative. Throughout the shoot, great attention was paid to the extension of movements; since Gongsun Li is inherently an agile character, I strove to make each of the Dance moves look authentic, as if truly performing sword-dancing.

Both the costume texture and the makeup styling achieved our desired results. This shoot also reinforced how vital props are to the overall ambiance—for instance, the golden pendants on the umbrella ribs created dynamic snapshot effects when swaying. Though the process was quite exhausting, recreating this agile persona and intricate costume details through the camera gave me a true sense of accomplishment.
