This Lynae styling took about half a month from preparation to shooting. The overall style leans toward a fusion of street techwear and wasteland aesthetic, with the visual center being that long hair with gold and green color blocking. After receiving the wig, I trimmed it extensively; the fringe at the forehead needed defined layering, while the two side braids were set directly with hair wax, accessorized with small white hairpins. The fluorescent green area at the ends is quite large, looking exceptionally striking under outdoor natural light.
For makeup, I didn't take a gentle route, focusing mainly on the eyes. Purplish-red contact lenses were key to brightening the gaze, with eyeshadow extensively blended in red and pink and slightly winged at the outer corners, paired with red lips to bring out that slightly aggressive, cool edge. The outfit was paired with a loose white short-sleeved shirt, a bright green subtly patterned tie fastened at the collar, and a black pleated skirt for the lower half. To add more details, a white print was attached to the side of the skirt hem. A pair of black over-ear headphones hung around my neck, with a black crossbody strap adorned with several colorful badges across the shoulder. The wrists were layered with red, black, and blue wristbands along with a silver bracelet, fingers adorned with black rings, and a lollipop prop held in hand—these small accessories greatly enriched the visual elements.
The shooting location was chosen in an industrial-style corner with vintage yellow machinery and black oil drums nearby. The black backdrop formed a great contrast with the clothes, allowing the main subject to pop. The full-body photo in the second picture was intentionally shot to showcase the lower half of this outfit. The black pleated skirt paired with Black stockings, topped off with those ankle boots featuring gold triangular studs and green color-blocked platform soles, nicely elongated the leg lines. The boots themselves are quite heavy, but the platform design visually fits the character's temperament perfectly. While shooting, I sat on a high stool with legs crossed, holding the lollipop in one hand with the other on my hip. To maintain a cool detachment, my gaze needed to look straight into the camera, with body postures relaxed yet supported rather than appearing sluggish.
Regarding lighting, warm-toned artificial lights were mainly directed onto the body to make skin tones look more even while giving the gold and green hair a superior luster. The shooting process went very smoothly; because the costume's color scheme matched the set so well, slight guidance on poses captured great moments. Overall, this was a Game cosplay shoot that placed immense emphasis on detail restoration, striving to express the character's uninhibited personality from hairstyle trimming to body language.
