The leather reflection of this black jacket is exceptionally strong; under the combined effect of the convention venue's complex lighting and the photographer's speedlite, the clothing's highlight zones easily get exaggerated. During the actual shoot, reflectors were required or the photographer had to adjust flash output to suppress the excessive reflections from the fabric; otherwise, harsh light would directly wash out the garment's original crease textures, making it difficult to recover shadow details in post-processing. In this high-contrast lighting, the gold buttons and chain decorations on the jacket served as great accents, with their textures rendered clearly.

Regarding the wig and head accessories, the long straight white wig did quite well in terms of drape. However, once the paperclip-style hair accessory was added, the overall head weight became a bit of a burden. Especially when holding side-profile angles or looking down at the camera for extended periods, the wig tended to slide to one side, requiring constant tidying of the bangs and hair ends to prevent strands from obscuring the collar and badge. The blue circular badge at the neckline is a striking pop of color in the overall black-and-white styling, nestled between the white shirt collar and black jacket to make the visual focus sharper.

For this shoot, the pose adopted a casual side-seated posture, with one hand planted steadily on the floor and one leg extending forward naturally. This pose actually places a certain test on core strength in the waist and abdomen, because the center of gravity must tilt toward the supporting hand to maintain balance, with half the body weight borne by the arm. To appear relaxed and effortless before the lens, the muscles actually need to maintain a level of tension. Complementing the character's sharp personality, the hand gestures avoided overly soft curves, deliberately capturing right-angled lines—such as the bend of the fingers and the fold of the wrist—to match the stiff, structured silhouette of the outfit.

The lower body was paired with Black stockings and pointed high heels. When shooting this style of footwear, the instep's arch angle is especially critical, directly determining the elongation of the leg lines. To make the legs look slender, I deliberately adjusted the toes to angle toward the camera's flank before the shutter clicked, while using the forward leg's extension to elongate the frame's diagonal. The opacity and luster of the Black stockings looked very clean under the single light, avoiding strange grid reflections under strong glare. This black-and-white outfit naturally carries strong contrast, and the snug wrap of the stockings made the overall visual center of gravity much more harmonious.

The venue was inside a large convention hall where overhead lighting was rather messy, so after the photographer crushed the ambient light, the subject stood out from the background. Other visitors and equipment at the venue were blurred into dark silhouettes, a technique very beneficial for highlighting the main styling—especially under the rim light created by light hitting the hair, keeping the subject's edges clean and crisp. Combining this lighting effect with the patent leather reflections allowed the finished photo quality to remain at a stable standard even with subtle pose adjustments. Throughout the shoot, we constantly checked screen feedback, fine-tuning minor poses according to the current state of garment folds and hair styling.

Regarding makeup, the eyeliner and eye makeup were given a sharp treatment, with red lips enhancing the overall presence and imposing aura. Since the wig is pure white, the makeup intensity was slightly deepened to balance the pallor brought by the hair color. Sharp eyes paired with voluminous long hair and a structured jacket indeed presented the character's traits very well.

Walking around the hall in this full gear made it quite easy to sweat, as the jacket material offered modest breathability, and the large area of black absorbed light; even in an air-conditioned environment, extended shooting felt somewhat sweltering. Fortunately, the finished photos captured a great atmosphere, preserving both the character's overall aura and the costume's texture. These Convention photos didn't undergo extensive composite editing, aiming more to objectively recreate the presentation under on-site lighting. As a look primarily meant for everyday convention interactions, the overall fit and practicality were quite good, and the hair and costume didn't easily get tugged out of shape while walking, making it convenient to capture multiple compositions on site. In post-processing color grading, the highlights were mainly softened to make skin tones and jacket textures more natural and unified, while reducing the harshness from the on-site lights.
