This set of Guizhong cosplay photography is finally ready to meet everyone. I put a lot of thought into the design and restoration of this Genshin Impact character Guizhong's cosplay outfit. Starting with the wig creation, the light silver-white hair color with a touch of pale cyan at the tips wasn't as easy to manage as ordinary short hair. To make the hair look fluffy and layered while hanging naturally, I trimmed and styled it through many rounds of adjustments. The overall outfit design combines Chinese style with fantasy elements. The halter neck and off-the-shoulder cut nicely highlight the lines of the shoulders and neck, while the color scheme is predominantly silver-white, spliced with black base patterns and cyan-blue geometric shapes. The fabric selected has a mercerized sheen, so under the studio lights, the clothing itself emits a warm, gentle glow that perfectly fits the elegant theme of lotus flowers. As for accessories, I wore tassel hairpieces on my head and armlets on my arms; these small details are often the finishing touches that elevate the character's disposition. On the day of the shoot, I chose a real-scene studio featuring lotus and tea ceremony elements. You can see the background arranged with emerald-green lotus leaves, pinkish-white lotus flowers, bamboo-woven mats, and a complete set of cyan porcelain tea sets, bringing the scene's ambiance to the maximum. During the shoot, I needed to adjust various poses to reveal different states of the character. In the first picture, I took a relaxed sitting posture with legs crossed and toes drooping naturally; the surrounding lotus flowers and bamboo mat combined to exude a cold yet lazy vibe, fitting for an aloof celestial maiden. In the second picture, I held up a blooming lotus flower with one hand, as the camera zoomed in slightly and my body leaned forward a bit. At that moment, light struck from a side-backlit angle, creating a beautiful halo around the edges of my hair, which, combined with subtle motion blur on the hand, gave the frame more vitality. The third picture is a half-body close-up where I leaned against a small tea table nearby, holding a lotus flower close to my cheek with one hand to capture my facial expressions up close, with a cyan-blue small flask as a foreground element to make the composition richer. As a cosplayer who frequently portrays Genshin Impact characters, I deeply know that beyond the match of clothing and makeup, mastering the character's demeanor is even more crucial. Although I cannot fully replicate Guizhong's in-game backstory, I hope that through the atmosphere of these photos, everyone can see Guizhong's elegant and refined essence when the lotuses bloom. Seeing the sharing theme "How many people still remember her?", in fact, within the cosplay community, as long as someone is willing to create with heart, a character will always maintain vitality. In this shoot, the coordination between lighting and props achieved a wonderful balance. The overall high-key lighting setup avoided deep shadows, making the entire photo set bright, fresh, and clear. I regularly study different makeup looks, hairstyles, and costume fabrics, hoping to better showcase this lotus classical style combining fantasy elements in future works. Finishing this set left me feeling truly fulfilled inside, and I hope you all like these photos.
