Getting straight to the point, I'd like to share my thoughts and the final results of this Navia cosplay shoot. From costume preparation and prop adjustment to studio blocking and post-processing tone, I feel the overall completion this time is quite good.

First, let's talk about the design details of this outfit. The upper body features a classic black and gold color-blocked corset. The fabric carries a slight matte luster with embedded subtle patterns. The neckline uses a black choker adorned with two blue gemstones as a visual focus, highlighting the neckline, while the off-the-shoulder design at the collarbone and shoulders works perfectly with the upper body's range of motion during the shoot. The iconic golden ship's wheel decoration at the waist is heavily detailed, embedded with a blue core and surrounded by fine engraved textures. Putting it on instantly brings out the character's recognition, with leather-textured pendants on both sides of the waist serving as a transition.

The hemline section is richly layered; the top layer features white ruffled lace, the middle is a black pleated skirt structure, and the outermost layer is spliced with a highly saturated large orange skirt. The edge of the skirt also has a golden border, so the orange part spreads out like flower petals when walking or twirling. The over-knee black socks feature golden vintage buckles, and the strap and garter design at the thighs makes the outfit look sharper. The black shoe decorations on the feet are also embellished with gold, keeping the overall color scheme unified from top to bottom.

In terms of props, this black and gold color scheme parasol adds a lot of value. The umbrella handle has a black matte texture, and the umbrella ribs and surface edges are all finished with golden ruffled lace, spreading into a large coverage area when opened. In composition, the umbrella can serve as an excellent foreground or background, blocking part of the light to create softer shadows. Meanwhile, tilting the umbrella slightly during the shoot makes the overall aura more expanded and the movements more natural.

The shoot was completed in an indoor studio with a European vintage style. The setting furnishings had great texture: a wooden display cabinet on the left holding dried flowers and wine bottles, a white European fireplace on the right with an oval vintage photo frame hanging above it, and a few red roses and green plants accenting the walls, perfectly matching the character's gorgeous and noble feel. The photographer, Teacher Da Tudou, is excellent at capturing light; a warm light source was turned on at the time, making the lighting throughout the studio very soft, and the surrounding edges were darkened to naturally focus the visual center on the subject.

As for the poses, besides standing there holding the parasol, I also attempted some extended postures. For example, holding the umbrella with one hand while extending the other hand outward, with the wrist slightly rotated, coordinated with the gaze and a slightly raised jawline to shape the character's usual confident, proud, and powerful image. During the shoot, both the skirt and the wheel at the waist were actually quite heavy, which caused some restrictions, so fine-tuning the movements took quite a bit of time to find the balancing point of the body's center of gravity to maintain a straight posture.

For hair and makeup, to better match the character's charm, the blonde hair was styled to be fluffy with the bangs slightly covering to make the face shape look smaller. The eye makeup used a warm orange-brown tone, and the eyeliner was slightly upturned, emphasizing the presence of the eyelashes to make the eyes look more spirited. The lips selected an orange-red color scheme, echoing the color of the orange skirt, keeping the overall makeup clean and sharp without being sloppy. In terms of post-processing color grading, based on the raw photos provided by the photographer, I made some fine-tuning as the retoucher, slightly shifting the overall color temperature toward warm gold to enhance the oil-painting texture of the frame while preserving the authenticity of the raw wood and plant colors, allowing the character and background to deeply merge.

The shooting process this time went very smoothly. The texture of the props and costume combined with the photographer's direction resulted in a visual effect full of narrative depth. The gorgeousness and exquisiteness of this Anime-style outfit are the unique charms of the character. The moment I saw the final photos, I felt all the time spent organizing the costume beforehand was completely worth it.
