[Fischl cosplay] Genshin Impact Prinzessin der Verurteilung: The Advent of Immernachtreich

This set of Fischl cosplay photos, featuring the Prinzessin der Verurteilung from Genshin Impact, was actually something photographer Shiwang and I pondered over for a long time. The overall style was set to deep sea and twilight darkness, aiming to express the chuunibyou flair and mysterious atmosphere belonging to the Prinzessin rather than simply taking an ordinary outfit photo. Choosing this specific blue-and-white gown version of Fischl was mainly because it retains the grandeur of her royal identity without feeling overly heavy, allowing great freedom of movement to present richer body language during Roleplay.

When I first saw this outfit, what attracted me most was the silver crescent-shaped metal choker around the collar. It sits perfectly along the collarbone, accentuating shoulder and neck lines, while the metallic chill contrasts beautifully with the softness of white gauze. The chest features multi-layered white pleated ruffles, complemented by a deep blue-black waist corset laced with dark wave textures in the center—details that feel remarkably solid. The arm sleeves are detachable bell sleeves; the deep blue glossy satin bordered by silver trim at the wrists exudes premium texture under the photographer's cool-toned Cosplay photography lighting.

The set design for this shoot was undoubtedly a massive highlight. The main setup featured a vintage carved gold mirror combined with a vast deep-blue velvet backdrop, creating a whimsical atmosphere as if the "Immernachtreich" had descended into the deep sea. Hanging around were numerous translucent jellyfish ornaments and long silver bead chains, whose subtle glimmer closely mimicked underwater bubbles and plankton. To complement this dark, underwater perspective, photographer Shiwang invested great effort in lighting control; although cool, the light source was remarkably uniform, rendering facial contours extraordinarily crisp and three-dimensional, while red contact lenses grabbed attention strikingly in dim lighting.

When it comes to character portrayal, I believe Fischl requires mastering her mental state beyond accurate costume recreation. It is a complex aura blended with haughtiness, occasional chuunibyou theatricality, and the keen sharpness of a night hunter. I tried several action sets during the session. The first archery posture tested arm strength and core control heavily, as the prop bow is quite bulky with asymmetrical sides, requiring an exact grip placement to avoid looking unnatural. I personally love that moment of pulling back the bowstring with eyes slightly cast down, exuding quiet tension.

Aside from action poses, static seated postures were another core focus this time. For instance, in the shots holding the white orb prop—which functions conceptually like an energy core or pearl of the Immernachtreich—sitting there fully naturally conveyed the Prinzessin's elegant yet tsundere nature. Maintaining absolute confidence before the lens is crucial, especially for a role with such a powerful personal mark.

The lower half's White stockings cosplay elements and thick-soled Mary Janes were further highlights of this styling. The white tights featured subtle totem patterns rather than plain white simplicity, reflecting light with delicate refractions. These white stockings make skin tones appear fair while creating a bold color clash against the deep blue coat, naturally pulling visual focus downward toward calf lines. Black platform multi-buckle leather shoes remain classic 2D staples; they are comfortable to wear while visually flattering leg silhouettes, making them exceptionally fitting for this character.

The shoot lasted several hours, and though holding props was tiring, working with the photo team was seamless. Photographer Shiwang held unique insights into composition and motion, granting me ample creative space to freely enter the character's psyche. The final result came out fantastic, free from heavy post-processing artifacts while retaining the original shots' cool glamor and depth. A great cosplay set demands thorough character understanding, dedicated prop and outfit design, and perfect synergy during shooting. Wearing this dress before the dark blue velvet backdrop truly felt like stepping into the Prinzessin der Verurteilung's realm within Genshin Impact—an absolutely magical experience.
