This time in the studio, I challenged myself with Komeiji Satori's fan-made design representation, putting a lot of thought into everything from the layered ruffles of the dress to securing the headpiece styling. The dominant pink tone paired with light blue ribbons, along with that iconic fine red string and fluffy small charms, creates a rich color clash visually. During the shoot, I deliberately chose a retro dark brown leather sofa and a dark background, paired with red roses and picture frames, hoping to create a dreamy doll style atmosphere somewhere between a doll and a dreamscape.

The light used was warm side backlighting; everything from the lighting arrangement to the adjustments of the softbox was done to highlight the translucency of the tulle and the reflective texture of the leather. The puffiness at the shoulders of the dress creates beautiful movement when walking, so beyond sitting poses, I also tried standing compositions to make the layers of the overall styling more complete. The makeup and eye expressions this time also leaned toward an elegant and soft direction, minimizing intentional sweetness to retain a bit of mystery.

Thanks to the photographer's candid captures, the flowing movement of the skirt hem was caught from every angle, and the setup in this retro photo studio fits the theme perfectly. Treating every single detail seriously, from the texture of the wig to the fastening of accessories, is all part of the character recreation. The combination of retro and fairy tale aesthetics perfectly suits the temperament of this character's fan-made design representation, and the final results turned out to be much more delicate than expected. We made a lot of attempts at texture for this final set, hoping to present a quiet yet narrative-rich visual effect.
