Shot this Marisa Kirisame cosplay photoshoot set at Nanning's Catbox Studio this time. Huge thanks to photographer Shilin for taking the shots, who guided me so patiently throughout the entire process. The outfit was custom-tailored by Zhujiu; the combination of black-and-white lace and star elements restored that retro vibe from my favorite fan canon. The massive ruffled witch hat and voluminous skirt were truly heavy, but putting them on instantly pulled me into character mode.
The wooden staircase and wall-to-wall bookshelves in the studio had such an incredible library ambiance, while lantern and book props added a rich narrative layer to the images. During the shoot, I kept imagining myself as Marisa—the girl who loves \"borrowing\" books and delving into magic—weaving between bookshelves and occasionally sitting down to thumb through spellbooks. Combining low-angle and high-angle shots this time brought out both the spatial depth of the set and the cuteness of the skirt flounce. Although moving around in such a complex Vintage dress felt a bit clumsy, I'm immensely satisfied with the final results. It's a pure Touhou Project visual presentation, and I hope it brings everyone a touch of magic archive immersion.
