The 'forbidden power of the rabbit' mentioned in the caption perfectly matches Halford's aura, so in this photoshoot, I wanted to interpret this mysterious, rabbit-themed concept as much as possible. I chose this classic glossy pink bodysuit look, paired with a pure white long straight wig.
To capture the character's texture, the top was specially chosen in a high-gloss patent leather-like material, which produces striking reflections under the venue's ceiling lights. The tube top design combined with detached sheer lantern sleeves adds visual layers and creates a light, flowing effect when moving around. The black bow at the neckline and the surrounding tulle embellishments add nice contrast and delicate detail to the overall pink-and-white color palette.
The headpiece is a key highlight of this look, featuring plush bunny motifs, pink patterned decorations, and black lace trims with ribbons on both sides, making the design thoughtful from head to toe. The headpiece is actually quite heavy and requires careful fastening; otherwise, it could easily shift or fall off in crowded exhibition halls.
For the lower body, I paired White stockings with white chunky high heels. The combination of white stockings and the pink top looks clean and vibrant. The moderate heel height kept me stable when standing for long periods or posing for the camera. Since convention lighting can be messy, during post-editing I deliberately preserved the pink and white tones of the costume while desaturating the background into low-saturation grays. This turned the industrial metallic trusses and ground reflections into the perfect backdrop to highlight the character.
My biggest takeaway from this cosplay was balancing the hairstyle and the headpiece. Because the wig is quite long and the headpiece has multiple rabbit charms, they easily tangled when turning around or making dramatic movements. Therefore, at the convention, I opted for a relatively static seated pose on a step stool that elongated my leg lines. This elevated seated pose nicely showcased the outfit's silhouette and leg lines while capturing the character's slightly tsundere and confident expression.
In truth, every cosplay project—from choosing fabric textures and styling wigs to navigating crowds for good camera angles—is a continuous process of trial and error. When I put on this costume, wig, and headpiece and stood before the camera, I truly felt the immersive charm of the character. Overall, the shoot went smoothly, and I hope these photos convey Halford's playful yet subtly dangerous aura.
