[Viviana cosplay] Arknights Vintage Gothic style court outfit details fully revealed

This set of Viviana cosplay costume finally had the chance to be shot in such a vintage real-scene studio. From getting the concept art to the final creation, the workload of this outfit was much larger than I expected.

Let's talk about the costume itself first. The main black and white color scheme plus dark red lining creates a very strong visual impact. The top is a corset design with white cross-straps on the chest, and a black belt and golden bell pendants at the waist. The outer cape uses many layers of torn-shaped fabric; to create that distressed yet gorgeous draping feel, stiff supports are added inside. The pants part consists of black shorts paired with White fishnet stockings, and the leg equipment has many details, especially the combination of silver knee pads and white high-heeled boots. Although the boots look great, the heels are very high, so during the shoot, I needed to constantly pay attention to my center of gravity, and standing for a little while would make my calves very sore.

In terms of props, that pair of huge antlers on the head is the soul of the entire styling. Although wearing them for a long time makes the neck sore, they must be worn for the sake of accuracy. The greatsword in hand is also a meticulously crafted prop, with a black-and-gold color-matched hilt and a silver blade, carrying substantial weight in the hand.

The shooting location was chosen in a vintage European-style room, with red patterned wallpaper plus carpets, as well as antique grandfather clocks and candlesticks. Once the lighting was set, the atmosphere instantly came alive. I deliberately adjusted my sitting and standing postures to showcase the character's temperament of being both elegant and carrying a hint of danger. When sitting, I would lean my center of gravity slightly forward to make the leg lines more prominent, while also displaying the details of the boots. When standing, I needed to straighten my back and waist, allowing the hem of the cape to fully unfold.

Regarding makeup and hairstyle, to fit the character's image, I deliberately chose a relatively translucent base makeup to highlight the depth of the eyes, matched with light golden long straight hair. After putting on the hood and antlers, the temperament of the whole person changed instantly. The layering of the hairstyle is also very important; two wisps of long hair were left in the front to modify the face shape, making it look more dynamic when taking photos.

In the design of shooting actions, I referred to that upright yet slightly lazy posture in the original art. Sitting is actually harder to master than standing because high-heeled boots easily make the leg lines look stiff, so I turned my body slightly to the side, bent one leg naturally, and extended the other leg forward. This not only elongates the visual proportions but also nicely showcases the texture of the White fishnet stockings and the strap details of the boots. When standing, the action of holding the sword with one hand requires core strength because the sword itself has weight, while also ensuring that the hem of the cape doesn't wrap around the legs, requiring the photographer to coordinate and capture many shots to get the most natural effect.

The lighting of the surrounding environment is warm, shining on the red-background gold-flower wallpaper, forming a strong contrast with the black-and-white color-matched clothes. To prevent the frame from appearing too cluttered, I would try to keep my body close to the center of the light, using side-backlight to outline the contours. In post-processing, this set of photos also tried to retain the original texture of the costume and skin texture as much as possible, without excessive skin smoothing, hoping to present the most authentic visual experience closest to the setting. Although shooting in this outfit is extremely physically draining, especially stepping in high heels while maintaining an elegant standing posture, seeing the final presented light and shadow effect makes everything feel completely worth it.
