[Helektra cosplay] Capturing light and shadow on the interstellar voyage of Honkai: Star Rail

This time, I'm sharing the Behind the scenes of the Helektra shoot with you all. To restore the unique temperament of this character, a lot of effort was put into the Makeup and styling details. Especially the color transition of the hair; to pursue Character accuracy, I tried different shades of highlights to ensure that it could present vivid colors under light and shadow from different angles. On set, to create that ethereal and slightly melancholic atmosphere, the lighting technician was very helpful; the purple ambient light perfectly blended with the accented warm-toned light and shadow within the complex folds of the costume. This layering of light and shadow is exactly the artistic effect the work pursues. During the shoot, although Helektra's gorgeous costume was a bit heavy, I insisted on many high-difficulty poses to ensure the dynamism in the lens was natural. Some angles required precise control of muscle contraction and relaxation, especially the extension of hand movements; every detail had to conform to the character's personality. During the breaks on set, we discussed the lens language together. This process of creating with a professional team was really fulfilling and rewarding.
