The Convention photos from this edition of the Ring universe Anime & Game Carnival are finally sorted out, so I'm sharing them while they're still fresh!

This Herta cosplay outfit was custom-made and adjusted step by step from hat to boots—especially the patent leather cut-out top and detached lantern sleeves, which required extra care with details when putting them on and posing. The lighting on-site was quite messy during the shoot, but thankfully we had a Godox fill light; the cool tones and purple reflections in the images helped suppress the clutter of the convention backdrop.

For the seated shot, I picked the camera position myself—the low-angle framing combined with platform knee-high boots elongated leg lines significantly, while slanting the staff grounded the overall silhouette. Paired with the wide-brimmed hat and straight bangs, I deliberately emphasized silver-pink lip gloss and light-colored contact lenses in my makeup to capture her calm yet naturally aloof Genius Society temperament.

The crowd was huge on event day, so shooting full-body standing poses meant constantly waiting for passersby to make way, but the atmosphere was wonderfully lively and everyone was super cooperative. The metal pieces and top ornament on this staff prop were crafted solidly and carry quite a bit of weight; holding it one-handed during prolonged poses made my arm sore, so the seated pose offered a welcome break while allowing the skirt and train to spread out naturally for an even more dynamic visual effect. I'm also super happy with the half-body close-up captured by the photographer, where the eye focus locked in perfectly as I adjusted the hat brim.

Spending nearly a week fine-tuning makeup, styling, and props to bring this to the venue and share the vibe with fellow fans was an immensely satisfying journey. The fluttering blue ribbons and purple-and-white color-blocked skirt unfolded beautifully in the breeze as I walked, though static photos can only freeze a single moment. I'll pick a few more behind-the-scenes shots from different angles to post later, but for now, here are the three most representative main shots!
