[Yae Sakura cosplay] The Fox and the Rabbit Under the Moonlight, Unlocking the Cherry Blossom Dance

This finished set features Yae Sakura from Honkai: Star Rail. I found the character setting's combination of laziness and a touch of gentleness to be highly challenging. During the early preparation, the most heart went into the details of this costume. The red-and-white base paired with a dark blue pleated skirt and a gold-patterned waistband maxes out the overall sense of layering. The rabbit ear props have a support framework embedded inside to ensure they maintain a crisp shape in front of the camera.

The shooting background chose a courtyard set with a strong Japanese-style photography flavor, where the moon and cherry blossom elements perfectly fit the character's style. Before going on camera, we specifically adjusted the lighting to be on the warmer side to simulate moonlight, making the captured skin texture look softer. Among the shots of sitting on the tatami mat holding a mask, I personally love that sense of relaxation the most. There are also movements closer to the lens, where I slightly adjusted my hand posture to give the frame a more interactive feel.

Overall, the cooperation with the photographer this time was seamless, and both the production efficiency and the final photo quality exceeded expectations. Although it was my first time trying the makeup and styling for this character, I am very satisfied with the final result of this Roleplay session, hoping to showcase the character's cool yet gentle temperament to everyone.
