[Helektra cosplay] Honkai: Star Rail, Recreating the Ethereal Elegance of Intertwined Blue and Purple

The design details of this Helektra cosplay outfit really touched me, especially the deep blue and violet color-blocked fabric, which inherently carries an ethereal, crystal-like luster. To recreate this texture for this High-quality cosplay, I specially chose a pearlescent material for the inner lining of the skirt hem, which, paired with the layered white pleats, reflects flowing light and shadow when walking. The red and black velvet bow tie at the neck, combined with pearl chains, adds an extra touch of elegance to the mysterious look.

Before the shoot, I specially adjusted the layers of the wig and made fine adjustments to the highlighted sections to make the color transition more natural. The cross hair accessory and silver horn-like ornaments on the hair strands really tested my fixing skills. For the makeup, I focused on strengthening the eye contours, using cool-toned blue and purple eyeshadows to echo the main colors of the costume, and embellished the bridge of the nose and the corners of the eyes with fine shimmer, hoping to capture that cool and slightly proud temperament of the Anime girl in front of the lens.

For this studio setup, we chose pure white drapery as the background paired with floating glowing jellyfish decorations, perfectly fitting the character's ethereal feel. Controlling the on-site light and shadow was absolutely critical for this Cosplay photography session; we prioritized the cool white main light from the front-left, supplemented by a blue ambient light from the side. This not only ensured sharp facial contours but also gave the gauze curtains behind me a looming sense of lightness.

Shooting in these glossy black patent leather high-heeled boots for several hours was a bit tough on my feet, but it was entirely worth the effort to capture the most natural state of the skirt hem lifting up. Balancing the costume and props is always the biggest challenge in a shoot, and this look especially tests the control of gravity and posture.
