This Lijiang travel photography trip was truly an ultimate test of willpower; I had to wake up at 4:30 AM to do makeup and styling, so sleepy that I could barely open my eyes. But the moment I saw the morning glow over the roofs of the ancient town and the rolling mountain ranges behind them, I instantly felt everything was worth it. This Xianzhou cosplay style outfit for March 7th from Honkai: Star Rail has an immense amount of details, and the red, white, black, and gold color scheme is exceptionally photogenic under natural light. The pink wig and animal ear hair accessories also took a long time to secure, but fortunately, the final effect is highly accurate.

During the shoot, to find the most authentic Xianzhou feel, I specifically chose traditional gray tile roofs as the backdrop and held a stick of tanghulu, which not only added a touch of daily life but also echoed the character's lively personality. The wind was quite strong, keeping the skirt hem and ribbons fluttering constantly, which instead beautifully captured a sense of dynamic agility. Although waking up early for makeup is pure torture, being able to bring a beloved character into reality in such beautiful scenery gives a sense of achievement that no studio shoot can ever match. The evening light in Lijiang is soft, and the layering of the mountains gives the frames a highly narrative feel. As a coser, being able to record a set of photos like this feels like the best return for my passion in this piece of Cosplay photography.
