[Robin cosplay] Honkai: Star Rail, Summer Beach's Robin • Summeretto Date

This summer-themed cosplay of Robin • Summeretto was full of fun from preparation to the completion of the shooting. Since it was set on a summer beach, I deliberately chose a refreshing blue-and-white match for the overall tone. The wig was chosen as light blue curly hair mixed with a hint of purple, looking more translucent visually. To restore the halo on the character's head, I tried several fixing methods, finally using fine threads to suspend it from the hair accessories. Although the angle often needed fine-tuning during shooting, the final photo effect was extremely lively. In terms of clothing, the upper body is a white lace camisole corset, paired with a blue satin choker and a golden star necklace, with a pearl waist chain dotted at the waist. Sunflowers and white flowers were hand-sewn onto the lower-body white gauze skirt, adding a bright splash of color to the whole. In addition, I also prepared a pair of light blue wing accessories, fixed to the back via magnetic suction. Although it wasn't very convenient for large movements, the detail level was maxed out.

The shooting location this time was an indoor set, with blue-and-white striped drapes as the background, plus artificial palm leaves and coconut props, restoring a rich beach atmosphere. The prop team prepared an inflatable swimming ring, a beach chair, sliced watermelon, and yellow starfish toys. To highlight the summer feel, I also specially pasted pink heart-shaped sequins at the corners of my eyes and applied orange-toned lip gloss. The pearl decorations on the wig were also manually glued on one by one; to ensure they wouldn't fall off during shooting, quite a bit of styling spray was also applied.

During the shooting process, I tried different poses. For example, lying on a table covered with a striped tablecloth and resting my chin on one hand—this posture can well showcase the lines of the shoulders, neck, and chest, while also allowing the gaze to interact with the lens more gently. There is also making V-signs with both hands, paired with the yellow starfish prop, looking even livelier. To showcase a sense of relaxation, I would also relax my body slightly, leaning against the beach chair, resting my chin on my hands, and letting the skirt hem hang down naturally. The whole process was actually quite tiring, because maintaining the wig styling and the stability of the halo, coupled with the higher temperature of the studio lights, required constantly adjusting the shoulder straps and waist chain positions while wearing a swimsuit. But when seeing the final photos in the camera, I felt it was all worth it.

In this setting, Robin temporarily laid aside the grand gown from the stage, changing into refreshing summer attire, able to freely enjoy the sea breeze and sunshine. I wanted to convey this sense of relaxation, hiding the starry sea's singing voice into the waves, letting this moment belong only to the sunshine and breeze. While shooting, I kept imagining myself truly by the seaside, listening to the sound of waves hitting the beach and feeling the breeze brushing past my hair.
