The core setting of this studio photography session is the combination of Chinese girl character cosplay and dark skin. Although my own skin tone tends to be cool white, in order to fit the dark skin keyword, a lot of special processing was done on the base makeup and lighting and shadow, trying to use light and shadow contrast to enhance the facial three-dimensional sense and aggressiveness. The final presented effect brings a unique aura that is cold and keeps strangers away.

The details of the clothing are very rich. The upper garment is a sleeveless stand-collar Chinese-style cut, with a large area of red and white cloud patterns printed on a blue background, exquisite frog buttons, and an irregular bias-cut design at the hem. The lower body is matched with an extremely loose dark red harem pants, with tightened cuffs and fixed with a long red belt at the waist. To increase the martial arts style, white bandages were wrapped around the forearms as wrist guards, and white mid-calf cotton socks matched with black flat cloth shoes were worn on the feet. The most eye-catching ones are undoubtedly those two exaggerated thick black twin braids, almost hanging down to the ground, with bright red flower hair accessories matched on both sides, and red knot ties at the ends of the braids.

In terms of props, a large folding fan prop with a red background and black ribs is the soul running through the entire set of photos. In the second picture, I made a single-leg standing leg-control pose, with one hand fully unfolding the folding fan prop behind me, and the other hand making a sword-finger gesture. This action is a great test of core strength; in order to maintain body balance and not fall down, the waist, abdomen, and ankles were exerting crazy force. The first picture is sitting on a wooden high-backed chair, with one leg stepping on the chair surface, the body leaning back, and arms stretching forward and backward, presenting a contradictory feeling of being lazy yet ready for battle at any time. The third picture is a single-knee half-squat posture, with hands crossed in front of the chest, and eyes staring straight at the camera.

The pure white studio photography background greatly highlights the visual impact of the red and blue color blocking. Red eyeshadow is blended at the outer corners of the eyes, cooperating with a fierce gaze, trying to interpret the confidence and unrestraint belonging to the dark skin Chinese girl character cosplay. The entire shooting process requires constantly adjusting the force application points of movements, whether it is the grasping angle of the folding fan prop or the placement position of the twin braids, which all need repeated communication with the photographer to ensure the composition tension of the frame. I hope everyone can feel the sense of power in this set of works.
