[Kinako cosplay] The lazy daily life of a blonde cat-eared girl

Putting on these green contact lenses, smoothing out the long straight blonde hair, slipping into a loose white T-shirt, and tying the red collar around my neck, the foundation of the cat-style look is complete. The eye makeup features a downward-elongated eyeliner paired with a large area of pink blush, designed to highlight that fluffy animal-like feel. The wig is a blunt-bangs style I trimmed myself previously; to match the animal ears, the top of the head was specially processed to be fluffy, making the ears look more natural. Although this styling has no complex armor or props, the simpler the clothing, the more it tests the cleanliness of the makeup and the relaxation of the movements. The first group was shot indoors near the door, where the light is relatively concentrated. Holding the cat required balancing my center of gravity while cooperating with the photographer to capture the instant the cat looked at the lens. Cats are actually very hard to control, and it took half a day of teasing with toys to barely get a few satisfying shots. Later, moving to the window side, the atmosphere was instantly maxed out. The natural light filtering through the white sheer curtains hit my face and hair softly, making even the hair strands glow. In the photo, extending both hands to mimic cat paws was an idea the photographer let me improvise; combining the curve of the wrists with the collar and animal ears, the result was unexpectedly vivid. The yellow plush tail and rabbit plushie casually placed in the background also added a bit of a cozy domestic life feel to the frame. The process of doing Cat cosplay is actually a process of constantly adjusting details. Although this look seems quite casual, a lot of thought went into wig styling and makeup precision. The black letters and green patterns on the T-shirt were also restored as much as possible. During the shoot, we spent a huge amount of energy trying to capture the moment when the cat was awake and cooperative. Under natural light, skin texture and clothing wrinkles can be displayed very well, so post-processing didn't involve massive color grading, simply restoring the soft tones of that moment. This styling aims to convey a casual yet somewhat clingy temperament, without deliberately posing in complex postures, just hoping to present the most relaxed visual state. From preparing costumes and adjusting makeup to pondering movements and guiding the cat, the whole process was an effort to get close to that cat-like atmosphere. Although shooting and retouching are exhausting, being able to present a beloved character in this form makes all the fatigue disappear.
