This time I'm cosplaying Neff from Goddess of Victory: Nikke. A set of a polar bear plush jacket paired with a blue skintight bodysuit makes the overall texture align beautifully with the character's lazy yet slightly combat-ready setting. The plush material of the jacket is processed to be very fluffy, and the hooded bear ears along with the giant claw gloves are packed with details. The bodysuit is made of a glossy fabric, which gives an excellent reflection effect under the studio lights, making the body lines look very sharp. The white headphones on the head and the toy water gun prop in hand were also recreated, which can increase the sense of interaction when held during photography.
Before the shoot, I specially adjusted the zipper opening of the jacket to let the neckline of the bodysuit and the waist straps present a natural draping effect. The photographer used a large aperture and shallow depth of field this time, blurring the colorful graffiti wall in the background into soft color blocks to highlight the character main subject. Across different poses—whether squat-sitting, standing on one leg, or turning sideways with the props—the images can all showcase Neff's playful yet slightly cool state. During the shooting process, I also found that the blue claw print patterns on the jacket are particularly eye-catching from a high-angle overhead perspective. I'm very satisfied with the final photo results; a good cosplay piece requires not only proper costumes but also critical lighting and angles, and the coordination with the photographer was quite seamless this time.
