Based on the setting, I should be at the Shanghai Loli convention right now, but due to some schedule changes, this set of photos is actually a look-test completed in advance indoors. Since I mentioned the convention, let's just assume that I am shuttling through the exhibition hall in this attire right now. Today, I'll post a set of indoor record photos to show everyone the detailed texture of this Minato Yukina stage costume.

Starting with the headpiece, that black feather decoration along with the accented magenta ribbon forms a wonderful visual echo with the massive bow on the chest. The wig used is light purple-gray long straight hair, and the hair texture was treated smoothly enough without that obvious plastic reflection. To restore the character, I also paid special attention to the direction of the bangs and the treatment of the sideburns, trying my best to let the hair cascade naturally down both sides of the shoulders.

Now let's talk about this relatively complex main costume. The structure of this skirt, or rather stage costume, truly has a rich sense of layers. The sleeveless top itself is a vest style, with a massive magenta bow layered on the chest, adorned with a metallic cross-star shaped pendant in the middle. There are also golden metallic chains on the chest extending from the collar to both sides of the shoulders. Although it carries a little bit of weight when hanging, it is precisely these accessories that increase the stage presence of the entire outfit.

The lower body features an irregular skirt hem design without a doubt. Purple, black, and white are stacked layer upon layer. The outermost layer is a fabric with black sequins and packed with golden borders at the hem, which gives a faintly shimmering texture under the soft indoor lighting. The inner layer is a soft purple ruffle, and the innermost layer along with the white train is a pure white cotton pleated skirt. Looking closely at the layers of this costume, its storage is actually quite particular. Especially that massive white pleated long train, we spent quite a bit of thought tidying it up before shooting to lay it down naturally. Because the skirt structure is complex, when walking around indoors, the skirt hem might stick to the legs slightly due to static electricity; if one isn't careful, the layers will look chaotic. Anime cosplay is not just about putting on the clothes; you also have to learn how to "coexist" with the outfit, keeping its dimensional fluffiness at all times.

The sleeve covers are also details that cannot be ignored. The off-the-shoulder design is paired with black half-sleeves, featuring pink cross-lacing on the sleeves with tiny bows at the root of the laces, which isn't bulky visually and makes the arm lines look beautiful. On the day of shooting, I also specifically wore this pair of patent leather triple-buckle black chunky heel shoes. This type of shoe is actually very picking about foot shapes, but when executing a character with such a gorgeous style, it can not only visually elongate the leg proportions to make the overall standing posture more erect, but also perfectly fits the character's slightly proud and steadfast personality. The reflective texture of the patent leather also presented quite ideally under indoor lighting.

Two relatively natural and relaxed movements were selected during the shoot, without deliberately striking overly exaggerated poses. I thought that in an environment like the Shanghai Loli convention where walking the floor is the main activity, these postures would instead look a bit more approachable. Regarding post-production processing, this time I chose to preserve the real indoor lighting, simply adjusting the warmth of the colors to make the purple-gray hair and black skirt look more three-dimensional. Because after all, since I'm still under the Shanghai Loli convention photos scenario setting, I feel that compared to overly refined studio shoots, this kind of field photo or look-test photo with a slight sense of daily life can instead close the distance, letting people see the true state of this cosplay work.

This character inherently carries that handsome yet focused radiance. Every time I do a character with such a strong setting, unique temperament, and gorgeous style like Minato Yukina, I can appreciate her focus and professionalism in music. That dedication to music is where the soul of Roselia lies. Therefore, whether it's the moment I put on the wig or step into this layered skirt, I will secretly remind myself to bring that focused and confident expression into the lens. Although these are just a few simple indoor records, every photo actually pours in my understanding and love for this character.
