The pace on Morus Isle has always been hurried, but this "Hu Tao · Cherry Blossom Cloud Celestial Maiden" outfit and makeup were truly worth slowing down for to carve out every detail during preparation. On the eve of the shoot, styling the wig alone took nearly three hours, because creating that fluffy yet fluid pink-and-white gradient layering, paired with the spirit fox ears on top and the exquisite tassel hair accessories, is what truly captures the essence of this skin.

In terms of the costume, the red and white patchwork bandeau design paired with a lightweight pink tulle outerwear, adorned with 3D decorations shaped like cherry blossoms and a large flower accessory right in the center, is truly a testament to detailed craftsmanship. Adding this folding fan in hand, printed with ink-wash branches and birds, it serves not only as a handy prop but also as the soul shaping the character's serene and carefree temperament. Opening the folding fan to shield the side of my face or gently resting my chin on my hand adds a unique traditional elegance to the frame, as if the wind of Morus Isle softened a bit for this very moment.

To make the final look closer to the original design, I intentionally enhanced the pink tones of the eye makeup for this look to make the gaze appear more agile, while emphasizing the harmony between the lip makeup and blush. Coordinated with the warm soft lighting on set, it made my overall silhouette look much gentler. As for the beautiful cherry blossom rain scattering down on purpose in the pictures, that was a moment captured only after repeatedly adjusting the reflector and shutter angles with the photographer, nailing that sense of romance and elegance just right.

This photoshoot is not just about recreating an outfit, but more like another interpretation of Hu Tao's character personality—she possesses both agile sharpness when wielding weapons and the playfulness and gentleness belonging to a young girl. I attempted to convey this soft beauty hidden beneath combat through the lens. Of course, wearing such a complex costume while moving around the set with a wig and fox ears to find the right angles actually drains a lot of physical stamina. Therefore, when making final photo selections, looking at the sun's luster on the tulle dress and the hair strands fluttering in the breeze in the finished photos brought a complete sense of achievement. I hope returning with this "Cherry Blossom Cloud Celestial Maiden" look this time can make everyone feel the unique warmth and romance of Morus Isle through this Cosplay photography session.
