This time I tried Ye Shunguang's red-and-white outfit from Zenless Zone Zero. For the shoot, I specially chose a Street location with double-decker buses and crosswalks, wanting to create an atmosphere of the character casually strolling through the streets just like in the game. The design of this skirt's hem is very interesting; the layered ruffles combined with a high slit beautifully showcase the leg lines while walking. Paired with a leather belt and a small red crossbody bag, the overall style retains a girlish charm while carrying a touch of crisp coolness. The fluffy big tail and ears are the character's iconic features. To keep them looking fluffy and natural in dynamic shots, I did quite a bit of preparation and styling before the shoot. The combination of white stockings and red chunky heels echoes the overall red-and-white color scheme, making the visual effect of the entire outfit more unified. Although shooting in this full gear under the blazing sun was indeed a bit stuffy and hot, seeing the texture of the light and shadow hitting the folds and patterns of the clothing in the final photos made all the effort feel completely worth it. For the props, I chose the fur balls and small bells hanging at the waist. These minor details add a lot of agility in close-up shots. I experimented with various compositions during this shoot—such as leaning halfway against a yellow car body while looking down to adjust my cuffs in the cover photo, and the moment the skirt flew up while stepping across the crosswalk—all trying to match the character's unhurried yet energetic state. This entire look from makeup to costume details strives to restore the game settings. I hope everyone can feel the unique charm of this character through this piece of Anime-style fashion and Cosplay photography.
