This time I wore the Sangonomiya Kokomi fan-made Kokomi bunny suit produced by UWOWO. The overall design of this outfit is very clever; while preserving the original character's deep-sea elements and blue-white-purple palette, it incorporates plenty of adorable Bunny girl cosplay elements, seamlessly combining Kokomi's gentleness with a bunny's playfulness.
Let's talk about the costume details first. The upper part features a classic white off-shoulder design with frill edges, with an iconic large deep blue bow as the visual center on the chest and a gem pendant dangling just below the collarbone. Both shoulders connect to detachable white puff sleeves that feel very dynamic. The neckline is designed with a stiff deep blue choker adorned with pearl buckles and teardrop gems, nicely elongating the neck line while retaining a bit of the dignified, serious aura of Watatsumi Island's leader from the original lore. I especially love the structure on the back and sides of the waist—despite being off-shoulder, the tailoring and fabric finishing are very smooth and flat.
The most eye-catching accessory is undoubtedly the pair of giant bunny ears atop the head. The outer side of the bunny ears is light pink, while the inner side is spliced with dark blue-purple, echoing the blue-gray highlights at the tips of the wig. The hair accessories are also very clever, with flower-and-tassel clips on the sides, making the overall look vibrant. The gloves chosen are white fingerless short gloves with lace trim, paired with pink bead bracelets on the hands, adding a touch of playful charm. The lower skirt consists of multi-layer wavy ruffles covered by a blue-purple sheer layer with wave textures, creating rich layering during movement.
As for the leg design, I personally love it—over-the-knee white stockings are embellished with tiny pink bows at the rims, revealing just enough thigh below the skirt hem to visually elongate body proportions and highlight beautiful leg lines in this White stockings cosplay. This costume uses plenty of satin and chiffon fabrics, which cast a soft luster under lights, making it ideal for indoor warm lighting shoots without requiring excessive editing to achieve a great atmosphere.
In experimenting with shooting poses, I chose several angles that showcase costume features. For example, touching the choker gently with one hand highlights neck accessory details and collarbone lines; clasping hands in front of the chest or resting cheeks on hands exhibits a sweet and obedient side; pulling up the skirt hem demonstrates skirt fluffiness and leg length; and the final top-down selfie perspective captures the complete coordination of gloves, hair ornaments, and choker for a fun angle. Although this outfit includes large-volume decorations like ears and skirt hems, it is surprisingly lightweight to wear without heavy burden, making it very suitable for outdoor shoots or walking around conventions.
Speaking of character lore, Kokomi's image in Genshin Impact is often linked with deep-sea wisdom and soft yet firm strategy. However, putting on this fan-made Kokomi bunny suit tones down the seriousness and accentuates her cute, adorable side instead. In my understanding, Kokomi herself is actually a girl who loves collecting cute items and reading light novels, so this outfit packed with anime girl elements feels perfectly natural on her, giving the character a vibrant, everyday charm.
The location for this shoot was an indoor wooden door backdrop with natural light. I feel that for a cosplay costume with abundant decorative details, a clean and simple background actually highlights the design quality of the outfit itself. The overall shooting process went very smoothly, and the costume provided a wonderful wearing experience.
