[Venti cosplay] Taking the Full Genshin Impact Cast to a Photoshoot: From the Fantasy Gate to the Bar Revelry

Taking the full lineup of Venti, Zhongli, Raiden Ei, Nahida, Furina, and Mavuika on an outdoor shoot—from the fantasy gate in the morning all the way to the bar at night—was truly an intense, high-stamina session. We started off by shooting a suit meme parodying the "Professional Team" meme. To convey an imposing, effortless authority, everyone tried holding back their laughter with deadpan faces and bossy poses, only to instantly break character and burst into collective laughter the second the shoot finished.

Moving outside the gate to shoot the formal combat scenes and group formations, the temperature was actually scorching hot. Zhongli's outfit was exceptionally thick, Mavuika's greatsword prop was heavy enough to strain our wrists, Venti's green wig reflected light easily in direct sunlight, and Nahida's long skirt hem kept getting stepped on. Furina's blue hat kept slipping off, so everyone constantly helped each other adjust costumes and touch up makeup. Since we're all close friends, the process was exhausting yet full of joy, working seamlessly together to adjust camera angles and reflectors.

The evening bar scenes were the main highlight of the day. We set up purple-magenta ambient lighting in advance, and the light looked gorgeous. Raiden Ei's long purple hair had an incredible texture in the low light, while Furina sitting on the bar stool—with her leg ring paired with thigh-high stockings—completely stole the show. The photographer spent a long time capturing footage to highlight the leg lines and leather reflections. Venti and Mavuika clinked giant beer mugs together while drinking and fooling around, and Nahida sat beside them sipping from a milk carton with an adorable "done with life" deadpan expression.

From early morning to late into the night, this shoot took a massive physical toll. Overall, despite challenges like heavy costumes, unwieldy props, and even lying on the ground for ages to find the right angles, seeing the final photos made every bit of effort worth it. Everyone in the team performed steadily in front of the lens without any stage fright. We not only captured the dynamic tension of the characters, but also infused our own interpretations and joy, making it a truly fantastic collaboration.
