Today, I'm sharing the Cornerstone Corolla look for Lisa Imai from BanG Dream!. This dress amazed me the moment I received it. Overall, it is a white-and-blue Lolita dress carrying a strong bridal and classical court aesthetic. The corset waist design of the top heavily tests one's figure, so I did quite a bit of preparation before shooting to wear it effectively. The light-blue crisscross lacing and silver embroidery on the chest are exceptionally intricate, accented with blue ribbon bows and jewel ornaments that elevate the overall refinement. The high-neck collar is paired with a navy bow, while the off-the-shoulder cut perfectly highlights the collarbones and necklines. The layered bell sleeves feature white lace trims and light-blue ribbons, with a white plush fur trim along the sides of the waist that looks remarkably adorable.

The skirt has a multi-tiered construction—a pure white outer layer draping over a soft light-blue gradient interior, creating a gorgeous curvature when moving around. To complement this dress, I matched it with lace-trimmed over-the-knee White stockings and crisscross lace-up high heels. While these shoes look exquisite, they definitely required extra care during shooting because the straps are delicate and could easily be stepped on when moving. The wig is long, wavy orange-pink hair with relatively neat, straight-cut bangs. For makeup, I wore green contact lenses, focusing on enlarging the eyes with elongated lashes, paired with a natural soft-pink lip color to convey a gentle yet subtly melancholic aura.

We set up the scene with meticulous attention to detail. The backdrop featured white Gothic arches and cutout tracery windows over a plush white rug. For props, we used a white grand piano, Roman columns, and a birdcage swing. Abundant fresh flowers in white, pale yellow, and light blue surrounded the set, alongside white roses and daisies. Sitting beside the piano and playing, the overhead lights cast soft reflections off the white keys and the dress's lace, giving the entire frame extraordinary depth. To showcase the diverse states of this dress, I tried standing, sitting at the piano, and posing on the swing and floor. Seated on the swing, the skirt draped naturally, beautifully accentuating the leg lines and the texture of the White stockings.

Lighting for this shoot mainly utilized softboxes with a cool-white and pale-blue color palette, crafting an ethereal, dreamlike ambiance. Throughout the session, I paid special attention to the lace and ribbon details on the dress to ensure their sheen was captured from every angle. Although shooting all day in this elaborate gown and lace-up heels was exhausting, seeing the finished photos made every bit of effort worthwhile. Lolita fashion demands meticulous attention to detail, requiring harmony from accessories to hair and makeup. I hope this share offers inspiration to friends who love this look. During the shoot, I continually coordinated with the photographer to adjust skirt angles and integrate the floral bouquets and piano into the composition. Because the outfit features abundant ribbons and lace, posing required keeping the fabric from wrinkling and the ribbons from tangling to preserve overall neatness. In preparing this look, I also experimented with several eye-makeup techniques, ultimately finding that a subtle shimmer without overstatement best matched the dress's serene mood. With so many flowers around the set, occasional petals drifting onto the skirt added delightful, candid serendipity to the shoot.
